Last night during the TNF game between Pittsburgh and Tennessee, analyst Mike Mayock told the story of an urban legend between former Gator teammates Chris Rainey and Jeff Demps. Demps is an Olympic track athlete, and Rainey has allegedly run in the 4.2 area as well. They had to meet behind the dorms one day and determine who was faster. Rainey says he won both races, which were 40 or 50 yards. Demps must have been watching the game because he started tweeting! Demps claims he won 2 of 3, and over about 10 races, he lost only once.
In Madden NFL 13, who is faster?
Rainey: 94 Speed, 99 Agility, and 97 Acceleration!
Demps: 98 Speed, 96 Agility, and 99 Acceleration!

I do not know much about Demps… but Rainey is FAST… I think maybe his over all speed could be a little higher but the acc and agi is spot on… Ive watched every pro game of his and he can flat out fly.. ( sorta reminds me alittle of Willie parker with his game changing speed but he is more agile than willie was IMO )

I believe Demps is faster.. Demps could possibly be the fastest player in the NFL… Rainey could go up to 95/96 if he gets to show his top speed on tape this year

Demps is better at HB and seems faster that Rainey, but Rainey is a beast at Punt and Kick returns. Almost averaging a punt return a game with him.

come on now rainey is better expectually sense he did get the start at florida and rainey is reportedly faster so i mean the edge goes to chris rainey
