All across the South east people are asking the question "which one is better?" well, it depends on what your looking for. Purely speaking in the name of games, i would give rhino the upper hand. they have more games and more systems than EB does. they even have the old classics like the sega game gear and sega CD games along with NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, playstation, dreamcast, ps2, xbox, GC, game boy and i'm sure there are a few others that i am forgetting. if you are a collector of games like myself, the choice is obviously rhino. while you can prebook any game at any time at EB, their game selection isn't as extensive as rhino
also, what i've noticed is rhino gives the better deal for used games. in one instance i was going to trade in sould caliber 2 and ESPN football when they first came out. i called EB and they were going to give me $40.00 for it. i went to rhino's and they were going to give me $60.00. obviously i went to rhino.
about the only thing i see that EB has going for them is the fact that they take dvd's used, but what's that got to do with video games?
the only problem i have with rhino is that you can't prebook a game if it's coming out in say a month or less. but, then again, that's not really a problem for me cause they know me by first, middle, and nickname at my local rhino and all i have to do is tell them i want it and they'll hold it for me.
i got into a discussion with a guy at EB this past weekend about preordering games and i told the guy i didn't need to. when he asked why i told him b/c i go to rhino's. we then got into an argument about which is the better place to go
one final thought, rhino won't give as much money back (if you want cash) for used games, but if your a gamer who cares? used games tend to cost more at EB games also
just thought you all would like to know
