Quick Question for Mad Bomber

last year, if a defender was in man coverage and his coverage responsibility was blocking, then he automatically blitzed...please tell me this absurd anomaly has been fixed...

No they don't. I haven't been through all of the man coverage defenses, but from the ones I've noticed they don't do it. I forgot to mention this in my writeup, they'll look to help out in coverage.

...much appreciated. That HAD to be fixed, it was just rediculous.

Like most 'commoners', I don't have the game yet, but I always get the Prima guide just so I can see what some of the plays and formations look like. Of course, strategy wise, it's completely worthless, but I know better anyhow.

Nevertheless, I must say the pass routes / patterns look much better developed. I'm also seeing alot more "jerk" routes this year - quick cross, whip around to the outside.

I'm very excited...

Yeah there are some new routes to look out for. The cpu's defense on Heisman default is tough and the db's are right there. Compounding matters is the receivers composure may start to suffer which leads to drop passes gallore. You're pretty much forced to user catch, at least on the XBOX version. I'm curious to check out the PS2 version.
