Lakers are in the finals, Fresno state is making a Cinderella run at the CWS and Griffey hit his 600th homerun of his career and is rumored to be coming back to Seattle.

I said a while ago that I though this was be a bonus year for the Lakers, just being in the finals is good for me. A healthy Bynum would make the Lakers a much more sturdy team.

I am greatfull right now for all of this.

P.S

*** Da Pats

yeah, ive been spoiled too in the last couple of years.

Pats: 3 Super Bowl's

Red Sox: 2 World Series

Celtics: Going for a title. This team was my first love. It's just so amazing to see them compete for a title. It's so surreal.

Fresno State: Football wise they are feared around the country. I'd rather put fear of god into teams like LSU, USC, and all other national powers who refuse to play us than be a middle of the road BCS team like Oregon State or South Carolina. Baseball...Cinderella indeed. LETS GO!

Only an NBA title for the Celts can ease the pain of the Pats losing.

Its fuc*ing ridiculous what they're doing...How can you take The NBA out of the 14th biggest market in the USA and put them in the 45th..fu*king Oklahoma City...Specially a team that has been here for 40+ years and won a title...Just gets me all fired up thinking about it.

Spoiled is an understatement. 3 of the 4 major sports (not sure hockey still qualifies) teams in the city went to the finals since october. The celtics are they key if they lose this series and the teams go 1-2 in the finals it will be a huge letdown but if they win it and you have teams go 2-1 it will be a nice success and will help get over the pats.....a little. :p

Most fans do not get to see a team from there city in any finals nevermind 3. Only the 1980 city of Philly sent all 4 teams to the finals. They went 1-3 but that is still an unbelievable stat. All 4 teams playing for championships.

This year has been so bad for me.

Raiders 4-12
Warriors miss playoffs because of West
Gophers Football 1-11
Gophers basketball miss on NCAA tourney and then lose in 1st round of NIT
I'm only recently a Wild fan, so their playoff run hasn't really hit me yet
My year is riding on the A's

What will you do if the nfl does put a new team in LA... will you still root for the raiders.. or will you defect to the new local team??

Yeah I've been pretty lucky too:

Pats championships
Red Sox World Series Champs
My university winning a basketball championship and football championship, Go Gators!
Our starting Qb winning the heisman
Celtics going at it in the finals

I can't complain.

My luck as been good as well

Anaheim Ducks-first time in history they made playoffs three straight years and in this decade they have won the Cup once, the Western Conference twice and another year where they made the Western Conference finals. Along with Disney selling the team to a great owner who supports the team and a GM who is the best in the NHL.

Boston Red Sox-2 World Series rings. 2004 alone is enough for me, 2007 was gravy.

New England Patriots-Everybody has already said what needed to be said.

Dodgers haven't been relevant since '88.

Boise State plays in a system that's built to keep them down.

Raiders suck.

Good times.

Eagles have been in the playoffs consistently since 2001, made the SB in 2004 and lost.

Sixers have been in and out of the playoffs for a while, made the finals in 2001 and lost.

Yankees have been in the playoffs every year for a while, made the world series in 2003 and lost.

Sports hasn't been horrible for me, it just hasn't come together for a championship in quite a while.
