A new fav pass defense, a new one in the dime, a cover 2 play that drops nine into coverage, the two dends drop into a zone, so I play as a dT and also drop him deep down the middle of the field because I most likely wont get any pass rush with two DT's anyway, giving me 3 deep with the rest underneath.

yEP, You are exactly right Bomber, I like to replace my Dt with a db and just drop him into the deep middle, I like both of these plays on third and long when I won't blitz.

have the running and passing games been improved from last years flaws.too many times my qb would misfire wide open wrs and backs and the running engine lacked the polish of it's parent game "madden:"

The running game is much improved and is probably the best I've seen in a video game, and I've played a lot. Running in NCAA '05 is a lot of fun. Passing is very tough...and requires you to make quick reads and throw everything on time. A lot of dropped balls if you're throwing into coverage...

KBell has it... if you play that all-out zone against a mobile QB you are in BIG trouble.

I used it vs. Texas and Vince Young killed me. He had 10 yards before my defenders came out of their zones.

I like this defense as well to mix in with my coverages, but I normally use the one out of the 4-2-5. But Razorbacker is right if you go against a mobile QB you'll get killed most of the time.
