zone coverage fixed?

I get the game tonight woohoo! its there just got to pick it up from EB..but I have a question, and if you guys do not know the answer I will test it out tonight.

Has this "feature" in zone coverage been fixed?The one where if you take the qb to within 2 yards of the line of scrimmage on the outside, the Db closest to the qb drops out of coverage and crashes towards the qb? once the Db crashes the receiver in that area is now wide open and the completion is easy.

this was a huge strat used by lots of peeps online last year. Taking K State's qb, running outside, then the DB crashes and the wide receiver or whoever is wide open with only the safety to beat. The flood plays worked especially well with this strat. The only wayto combat it was to run a 3 deep zone and take the MLB, if he was fast enough and shadow the QB.

So far the zone coveraged do work very well. I haven't had a chance to test that specifically, but the zones are more effective.

I did not check that out yet either but I did notice it is a lot harder to get big chunks of yard with the scrambling QB even when the defense is playing zone, when the QB runs the defensive react better and seem to be faster chasing the QB, you can still get a good gain, but not like 22 yards on a 3rd and 20, now I have only played 4 games and not realy experimented with it. :cool:
