Is it just me or is Online play super slow?? I mean slow to the point of painful. It wasn't my connection....the guy I played today said that is the way XBoxLive is. I got my fanny kicked....had under 50 yards rushing....and 85 yards passing....got waxed 28-0 He was Ohio State...and I was WVU. I couldn't get ANYTHING on the ground....I tripped him a few times...but it was just SLOW.

Anyone else??

I use the PS2 online and its a little slower but not that noticable, but I have heard the gameplay for XBOX is just alittle slower than the PS2, I cannot confirm this though.

I may get XBox... The jury is still out. It depends on the glitching that people may do on PS2... Grrrrr...!!!!

I haven't gone online yet, but considering the fact that the offline game is so slow, I wouldn't be surprised. I've been playing a ton of 2004 to get ready, and popping in 2005 made it feel like the game was being played in mud. I don't mind the somewhat slower gamespeed on its own, but when its combined with plentiful slowdown (XBox), you get a game that seems to really drag.

I'm not sure how much play this game is going to get once ESPN hits the shelves.

The gameplay on my PS2 is smooth, but I am hearing A LOT of complaints on how slow the game is, especially on X-Box.
