So, lately I've been getting kind of bored with my Titans franchise, and really have been thinking about going a different route with something. So, what I did today, since I was bored and the weather was crappy, I just did a sim franchise for four years, making crazy trades, signings, etc... Here's what I came out with for a team, all draft classes were MGD, and I'll note where important rookies were drafted. I used the Titans.

Quarterback | Vince Young, 99
Halfback | Rod Phillips, 87, 2009 DP, R1P1
Fullback | Justin Griffith, 91
Wide Receivers | Larry Fitzgerald, 95 & Roy Williams, 93 & Jermaine Hanks, 85, 2010 DP, R1P1
Tight End | Kellen Winslow, 99
LT | Michael Roos, 95
LG | Logan Mankins, 99
C | Matt Lehr, 93
RG | Stephen Neal, 97
RT | David Stewart, 93
LE | Julius Peppers, 99
RE | Kyle Vanden Bosch, 99
DT | Tommie Harris, 99 & Vince Wilfork, 98
LOLB | Lance Briggs, 99
MLB | Mike Peterson, 93
ROLB | Keith Bulluck, 99
CB | Quentin Jammer, 93 & Cortland Finnegan, 93 & Antre Rolle, 89
FS | Michael Griffin, 93
SS | Chris Hope, 98
K | Rob Bironas, 98
P | Drew Waters, 89, 2008 DP, R413

Sad part is, now, I'm giving myself one final season, but I'm YET to win a Super Bowl by jacking my team. This is the last season I even really have a shot with only 3 mil in cap space and about 20 expiring contracts...

I'm still looking for something different to do for franchises...

Take the worst team from your Titans frachise and roll with them for a while, getting them to a SB. Either that or move the Titans and start up in a whole new area?

I would take control of a diffrent team every 3 or 4 years, well untill my PS2 broke. lol

First I controlled the 49ers. about 4 years into my Chise I took control of the Browns and built them up.. I still controled both teams. Once I got htem built up I switched to the Texans then to the Steelers. Thats who I drafted my best RB ever. Ike Holmes 97 speed 98 accleration.

So, I think what it might be is that I'm so partial to the Titans, that I make moves that might not normally be suitable. I mean, Bulluck would probably never move to the middle, but I've moved him there because it suits best in my position. I think I need a whole new team. Problem is, I don't even know where to start.

I think a team like the Jets would be interesting, a lot of gaps among the team. Arizona almost seems too easy, with the targets on offense, so they're out. Other teams I'm thinking about are the Broncos [I'd have fun working with Cutler], the Panthers, and/or Packers.

I'm leaning towards the Broncos and Packers mainly because I'd love to play at Lambeau, the Broncos just because I think it would be another interesting team to play with.

Another thing, if I was to start a new franchise, I would probably NOT control all 32 teams like I am now. It's a lot of work trying to work realism with all teams, trying to keep them all working right. Also, MGD drafts would be used, since I kind of know who is who, steals, etc... by seeing them already.

Opinions? This is not saying my Titans franchise is over, I'll continue to work with it, since I still do like it, I just may find something to do to make it more interesting to me by working with a new franchise for a while.

NOTE: Fantasy Drafts are NOT out of the question.

I find the best way to keep a franchise interesting is to keep changing teams. I ran a franchise on my PS2 that ran until every real player in the league had retired (except K's and P's they live forever) I'd play a team for about 2 or 3 seasons, try and build an absolute monster team then change my user control to the team with the worst record in the league and try and do the same. That tends to keep things fresh and exiting.

Converting players always held the fun for awhile for me. CB to WR, DL to OL, ect ect.
