That's twice I've been hammered. What is the point of this?? I practice the game and practice and practice....I go to the filmroom....I practice some more. I go online and it's a COMEPLETLY different game! It's like I'm playing in mud....NOTHING that works in practice works online. I am sick of watching my opponents catch pass after pass and I can't hit a simple down and out on a hot route with man coverage. Their FB's crash through the line for HUGE chunks of yardage...and I can barely get across the LOS. I run an option...and get stuffed for a 3 yard loss.....they run an option and juke and jig for a 20 yard gain. I can't run down a center with a corner back.

I'm sick of this.

I feel you Black, but dont give up yet, get with someone in here for a practice game with headset and try to help you out.

FlaPride did this for me and my game is alot better thanks to him. But, I think we are all on PS2's.

Someone in here can help with the XBOX version I know.

I'm a little frustrated too, this game is hard. I played one game last night, I won 8-7...a safety and 2 fieldgoals. I love it though because there's not anything to fear on defense. No sure money plays. Everything can be stopped with the right playcall. I had a guy last night kill me with the option game the first half, then I started calling the Double Spy out of the 4-2-5, and a few others, and by the end of the game his QB had negative yards rushing.

just play for the love of the game and if you win thats just icing on the cake, have patience! it will get easier and you'll get better

hang in there guys, i'm frustrated also, but give the game a lil time. this years version is a whole new game compared to last years. it's gonna take some time to adjust. also, finding a pb is going to be the hard problem i've played like 13 games and i havne't used the same pb twice. i just can't get comfortable with them or find one to fit my style

OK....I'm better now hehehehe I just had a really good game with a guy that felt the same way I do. He won...but on a last minute TD pass. We were trying to help each other out the entire game. I don't mind losing a game like that. I HAVE figured out the user catch, though. I can usually catch the ball if it's a long ball and I have one on one coverage. I had over 200 yards in the last game. But the running is slow and confusing. All my cuts and jukes are like the ball carrier is on drugs. ARGHHH!

How do you change PB?? I have been playing one that is totally unfamiliar. I have two saved PB's but I can't find either one....any help there would be appreciated.

The game speed is a lot slower on XBOX Live. It seems as if my blitzers take two months to get from point A ot B :D.

Ya, I played a buddys XBOX last night and I thought the PS2 was slow, the XBOX is slower than the PS2's version.

Another confusing thing. Last year ur profile went with u during the game. This year u have to go to team options when u r challenged and select ur teams plybook. Then ur profile will show up. Do u know how many games this cost me. I am 2-3... Man... grrrrrrr.... GRRRRRRR......lol :mad:

This is why I love this forum. I am now convinced that the true Ballers reside in here, a guy ready to give up and got the encouragement and help he needed, On other sites this guy probably sold his xbox live by now :rolleyes: .

When u and ur opponent goes to the team select screen. That is where u hit the O button to look for team options. Where u can change the color of ur uniforms and what not. That is where u make ur playbook selection.

hang on guys , it is still early and besides in a couple of weeks we will be tearing this game up.you know last night i played a guy who seemed like he was cool and we were on our headsets and talking about cheating and playing straight,and how we all love playing madden and who our favorite teams are his was the falcons and mine was the ravens so it came to no suprise to me he styled his college game after the falcon's qb-mike vick, however,i was playing usc and he had cincinatti , and he had taken a wr #7 and put him in at qb and was trying to run run run and it was not working like he had hoped for and i was still experimenting with my knew playbook, i use tulane's , and i found some plays that he could not defend , ace bunch-safety divide, and ace bunch vertical with the hb dive. now although he had his wr playing qb he was still throwing very accurate passed most of the time especially downfield.and i must add that the passing game has improved greatly and the overall speed of the game feels more smoother, however,i still believe that the running game is still not as polished as madden's or maybe it is still too early too tell,nevertheless,i see guys are still trying to play this new school cheese style so beware. i won and he was kind of upset

guys there are two qb's for the razorbacks who have a 84 speed rating,and i believe last year it was 74 well anyhow,what is up with that, i could not believe that and there running backs are faster also they have like a 92 and 93,someone call ea, don't get me wrong i am not complaing but maybe if we understood ea formula things like this would not be so mind boggling,

Arkansas did recuit a QB a year ago that was suppose to be phenenom and runs a true 4.4 in the 40.
I think he is a sopo this year, but Ark lost like 20 starters, but maybe the recuiting was good.
