How do you pick a playbook?

What do i have to click on to pick a playbook and set audibles? I want my audibles set so i don't have to pause online during each game to set them. Any help is appreciated.

You'll see an opton called "User Options" at the bottom of the screen when you move your controller to the team you want to play with. The XBOX press the Y button and the PS2 press the Circle button. You can then select which playbook you want to use.

Yeah the new format had me confused too. its totally different online than last year. I wanted to play a game to see what its like and played at Miami with FSU. I got stuck with FSU's playbook so I was lost the whole game. I ended up losing 7-3.

At first i was hoping there was a way to save audibles like we do on 2004. But then i figured out the on the fly audibles. I love that system, but the speed of the play clock takes getting used to.

I ask the same question on maddenmania and thank to McNabbulated for the answer. I hope this help. I've not try it out yet.

it took me atleast an hour to figure it out but here it is.

1. go to create a playbook from the menu option
2. set your audibles
3. be sure to create a profile name for playbook
4. then make sure playbook/profile is loaded


Now go online

1. when at team select, there is an option button located at the bottom of the screen.

2. hit option button
3. now you have 2 choices, either change uniforms or select playbook
4. select the playbook that your audibles are under, and that will load your settings automatically.

I know its long and crazy, and i was mad and frustrated until i figured it out. I lost 3 games because of it. Anyway good luck!

I just tried this and all I got was the team playbook....I may have done this wrong...but I have two seperate custom playbooks saved....and they weren't in the list. Just the teams...and then the computer generated playbooks like run and gun and balance pass yada yada yada.....did I miss something??
