My thoughts of playing vs. CPU. I dont do the online thing.
First thing that comes to mind is that I like the game. I still need to get my sliders adjusted because the CPU just cannot complete passes for didley.
I haven't had much problem passing. Now, I am not just lighting it up with 300 yards per game or anything like that, but I've found some things that work -- mostly crossing stuff.
I like how the CPU is fairly aggressive on offense. For instance, I had Texas in a lot of 3rd and 10s and I kept dropping into max zone out of the 4-2-5. Well, VYoung would roll right... look... and take off. Well, by that time, my guys were in their zones (seems they are all playing awfully deep) and VY had 10 yards before even thinking about juking. This happened so much that VY had over 100 yards rushing against me.
The crowd is finally more dynamic and realistic.
Oh, I did manage to beat Texas 17-12 with Arkansas. UT just couldn't pass. I also was without Matt Jones, who was hurt.
I am very disappointed that EAS didn't put any work into the pre-game scenes. Same old stuff.
How about fly-bys of the stadium, maybe show the band playing on the field... there's so much they could do to keep it fresh and interesting.
Humm... while I was playing my last game I had all sorts of things I was going to post about...
