Bomber or anyone, what is homing?

In a couple of other forums, I saw homing mentioned several times.

What I get is by holding the L1, R1, and I think the X button at the same time, after the snap the defense "HOMES" in on the RB from the snap.

As anyone heard of this?

I was playing online one time and someone I was playing told me something to that effect.
It was someone in here but I cant remember who it was!

naw man, i've been to a lot of boards and i haven't heard anything yet, that isn't to say it's not in the game though. let me know if you find something out and i'll do the same

then again, wouldn't the pa pass be even more effective?

Never heard of it , that is news to me, then again Trojan you were the first one who told me about the AB blitz.

I dont know if it PA is better or not. I did play a guy and I did a screen several times and noticed how some CB's and LB's never drop into man or zone coverage and home in on my RB.
I could not pick thiis up at all, its a 3-3-5 type of stack, at one point before the ball was thrown to the ball the guy had like 3 players bearing down on me.

what team was he playin with? could it have possibly been the players awareness?

i mean, did you try and run the play to the opposite side and got the same results?

I was FSU and he was Prudue. I did flip with the same result. Either this guy had ESP or I'm stupid. I know one time I scored on him because of the, I wanted to throw to the RB in the flat and 2-3 defenders came a coming and when I looked downfield me TE and FL were heading steaks side by side downfield with only the strong safety there, I hit Henshaw and stumbled in for 6.
We they come in, its not after the QB, there are going toward the RB only, maybe theres a D.play that spys the RB or something.

I don't really know I've been primarily playing the XBOX version.

I've never heard of that, but then again...I just found out what the AB was a month ago. That comes from not playing too many online games I guess.
