XBOX or PS2???

What are your guys impressions on how the games are for the XBOX and PS2? Especially the online experience, with EA being on XBOX Live now.

i have the ps2 version, but i've heard a lot of xbox users complain about how slow xbox live is with this game

i don't go online very much, so i can't really say much abuot the ps2 version, but from what i hear there still are people up to the same old tricks as last year: WR at QB, pulling on you, things like that.

i am loving this game. it makes you feel the true college atmosphere. the home field advange is just crazy. playin down in the swamp is hell. the dynasty mode is extremely deep with you having to sit your good players sometimes for simple rule violations. if you don't the ncaa will take away scholarships and forbide your team from playin in bowl games.

I have personally played both. PLAYSTATION2 this year. XBOX has greatly better graphics and Xbox is very cool, BUT, gameplay is where PS2 excels, I dont care who says the Xbox is better, but for some reason the PS2 runs smoother.

I agree with you trojan, I also have xbox and ps2, the graphics are better in xbox but not to the degree that make you want to change to xbox, that my opinion. I will choose the smoother gameplay from the ps2.

I love the Xbox version. You can't go wrong with either I don't think... I haven't played PS2 but to me there's nothing wrong with the gameplay. Occasionally if your connection isn't great online it's hard to run, I'm constantly heading right into the opponents D-line, but most of the time it's not bad at all, and you can still jump outside for big gains. Offline the XBox I'm sure is much faster loading, and graphics are probably a little bit better...

PHIL, XBOX does load MUCH FASTER, and the graphics are BEAUTIFUL, but if you played the XBOX first and sat down with the PS2, the PLYSTa is like a bit more fast paced for some reason.

TrojanNole, are you talking online or in general. And I don't exactly understand how game play is smoother, can you guys please explain. My kids have game cube and I have xbox and I know the limitations, hence the xbox loser tag so I'm just trying to understand

i have been reading these posts about the xbox being slow, but a good friend of mine has this game for the ps2 and i have the xbox version.

both of us didnt really notice a difference, even the graphics are basically the same unless you really want to nitpick then the xbox graphics are slightly better

and for online play being slow, i read somewhere that part of the reason is the EA servers which are supposed to be fixed shortly

I play on a 50 inch TV, and you can tell that the XBOX clearly as superior graphics.
But, both of agreed that the XBOX did seem just a little, would you say, draggy.
Maybe, its just, but I know the PS2 taking forever to load.

Well the XBox has a hard drive (I hate memory cards) and loads faster and looks a LITTLE better but I think I would have to give the nod to the PS2 version. The framerate problems on the XBox coupled with the terrible (so far) online experience along with how much smoother the PS2 plays makes me say that. If EA put any effort into making the XBox version as good as it could be, it would be leaps and bounds above the PS2 version.

If you want to play it online I would wait until EA and MS fix all the problems. I haven't played or seen the PS2 version online.

P.S. This is coming from someone who owns 2 XBoxes and does not even have a PS2 but calls them like he sees them (if he sees them).
