Suspend your player!

for those of you that are still goin through your season, suspend your player! i won the NC last night, but came to find out that my school is on probation and i lost a prestiege star and 10 schlarships for 5 years and my bar wasn't even a 1/4 full!!

From what I am reading on message boards, it seems the probations are a bit extreme.

Just another case of a new EAS feature going overboard.

i know i had one guy that was playin ncaa, lol

um....another that got caught forgin something suspended 2 games

2 others (my star hb) and another i had to suspend for other academic things, but i suspended them for 3 games, so i have no clue where i went wrong

let's just say, recruiting is extremely hard with only 10 players, still caught the #10 recruiting class though

btw i really like drafting athletes

I feel your pain, i created a cupcake team that i am playing with and put a couple 90's (QB,HB,DE,CB) on it to see what we could do, well of course all those players keep getting in trouble... it sorta seems like the higher they are rated the more trouble they think they can get into... my bar is at 1/3 but i havent hit probation yet, does it happen at the end of the year? BTW i went through my first recruiting phase, and last season i was pulling out nail biters all the way (went undefeated though, finished #5) this year with a harder schedule im blowing #10 and below teams out of the water.... its amazing what recruiting the top line backers and DEs can do for your team :)

DJ, when does it tell you this? After the season is over or another time. I won the National Championship last night and I hardly suspended my player. The bar was about 33% full too. My prestige went up as well. My highest suspension was 2 games.

If you give out a real stiff suspension for a minor infraction will that help the other players discipline? I had a backup LOLB come late to class repeatedly so the recommended 1 game suspension was given, but I noticed if I went to a season or added games the NCAA bar went lower or out completely. Any ideas, and will the suspension and length help or hurt in the r4ecruiting process

at the end of the season (after the NC game) you'll see the screen. if you didn't see it you have nothing to fear until next year

one thing i've noticed is that your ncaa interest doesn't drop down to zero the next year.

i've only played 4 games into my next season, but every time i have a disipline problem i raise the suspension that the ncaa suggests.

i don't think that the suspensions have any affect on recruiting, unless your team is suspended and the ncaa docs you 10 suspensions. i'll be able to tell you more later on in the week after i do my second recruiting class

DJ are you simming or playing all the games or a combination of both. I noticed when my suspension was changed to a season for the minor infraction NCAA interest went out completely

i played the whole first season, i'm mid way through this one, i might sim some of my pushover teams, but i'm unsure yet. what i meant by your ncaa interest not clearing was, at the end of the year, it doesn't drop back down to zero. you begin the next season exactly where you left off.
