Is it just me or has anyone else experienced a road game where the opponent WASN'T amping the crowd up and they were NOT cheering loudly and you tried to hotroute, but STILL had thier reciever go into the "I can't hear" animation? It was annoying the HELL out of me yesterday. Nearly cost me a game vs UGA last night (I won 25-15, even though I was down 12-15 with 1:35 left in 4th). I noticed that the home team crowd either doesn't cheer loudly or takes a little more to get pumped up on 2nd down. So on the road, I'd only call hotroutes on 2nd down if I need them. Well, the crowd was pin-drop quiet and I hotroute my slot wr to a streak since the NB over me wasn't very good or composed, but he does the "I can't hear" thing (and I'm kinda upset b/c there was NO crowd noise at the time), so I call it again and this time it SEEMS that he gets the hotroute....WRONG. Ran his original route and I throw a pick right the the SS. I thought this was only effective when the crowd was pumped up enough. So far I've only had this happen vs CPU on road playing on Heisman.
