30 stack

i read mad bombers breakdown on 3-4 thunder green an turning it n to 30 stack but i dont get ne extra pressure . am i doin sumthing wrong? is there a better play for a beginner n the 30 stack defense?

It works for me as a good run defense, their is also another adjusment you can make against the shotgun bunch with it in the filmroom.

That particular defense was primarily for the running game. It also works quite well in NCAA 2005. So far I've used my one 30 Stack adjustment moreso than I have used the 3-3-5 Stack that's in the game.

I have used the 30 stack out of the 3-4 also for the run, I think the 335 is a better pass defense.

Pick any 3-4 D, shift the LB's left, bring the strong safety to the LOS. My favorites are 3-4 Tunder 2 and the Spy 2 . Bring any LB up and blitz between the gaps, I will do that cheesy AB thing if the person does anything that would be cheesy too.

Keep it oozeing Rickey and maybe, I can CATCH YOU IF I CAN!"

The 3-4 that I use is the Crash 3 I believe. It is where 3 of the linebackers blitz. Don't use the Thunder version. It is the zone version of the crash. Remember to sub ur fastest non starting cb/ss @ the right Linebacker slot. That is how I do it. It gets good pressure on the run as well as the pass....

Sorry AWN, I didnt get to play you last night. I played two games last night I got glitched by one. My record of 9-5 really only has one loss to a Purdue guy that had the game on Junior Varsity.

But I think I'm ready for ya, the Noles are really hyped up for the game!

Do whatever the cpu allows u to do.. I will normally sub a cb@olb bcause I ply the 30 stack alot. Outside of that I am really a straight shooter.. I say do what u would want me to do back to u. I normally only go for it on 4th if it is short yardage... If u want we can do a best out of 3 series. So who ever has the better rank. We will start at their venue. How about we also turn off the HFA also. I am tired of not being able to audible, but the other guy can do it all he wants for these match ups. This will b who is the best match up. Not who will be able to do what he wants bcause of hfa, while the other plyer gets stymied. Let me know what you this of this. :cool:
