I know a rattled DB will get beat with man coverage , but when you play zone does the match up stick also effect DB's in zone coverage as far as getting beat. I was playing this morning against Alababama against a rattled Free Safety, and Cornerback. I lobbed the ball for a deep pass against cover 2 man which takes away the deep pass, I thought maybe since the DB's on that side of the field were rattled my receiver could come down with a catch, but both DB's closed on him pretty quick to knock the ball out of his hands.

you also have to look at the players skill level. if his composure is down but his ability is good (green) it's possible he could make the plays you speakin of.
