WVU ballers Question

First off, whut up to all my mountie fans out there. We got the Big East rapped up this year. Anyway I suck online right now. I know all lot of it is probably me but I want to know how do you guys compete against the better ranked teams in the game this year. How do you get your running game going when those top 10 teams D line are better than our O line and there Linebackers are in the 90's. I'm also asking w/out being totally better than someone can you still compete w/ Wvu when their lets say Oklahoma?

I love West Virginia and agree about the Big Eas already wrapped up. I don't play online but when I play those top teams in my dynasty, I don't find it too difficult to win. The option is very effective for me, especially with Marshall's speed. Henry catches almost everything I throw to him. He has be very reliable on slants and have picked up many first downs on this hook up.

Online is a completely different animal.....But you can win against better teams....I just won against Auburn 30-14 online.....you have to be selective in your play calls....Options and pitches take too long to happen...so stick to counters and off tackle plays....short crossing patterns and down and outs are good bets....don't even think about hot routes or audibles....if your playing in a top 20 stadium....unless you get the lead.

KayJay is a horse and if he starts making some runs...his confidence goes up and he is very hard to bring down....Rasheed is one of the faster QB's and will catch some people by surprise with sprints out of the shotgun....Henry is solid on the fly patterns...but he drops too many on crossing patterns...I use #86..John Pennington....he's only 5'11" but he has GREAT hands and finds a way to get open on the little dinks and outs.

On defense...I stay in the 4-2-5 and the 3-3-5...I rarely go to any other formation...maybe the nickle or dime once in a while. We have fast DE's and quick LB's....they can contain the corners pretty well....and the DB's can hold their own...but they can be burned deep....so play a good amount of bump and run.

I use WVU. I run with Kay-Jay and run QB sneaks with Marshall to set up the long pass to Henry. They are a couple of plays especially effective in the playbook that isolate Henry in one-on-one coverage. I always pump fake then throw.
