Ace bunch has no less than four really good plays going to the RB. Also, I'm not sure which set it's in this year, but i do remember seeing it...look for a play called 'stretch'. It stretches the defense by putting the wideouts deep, and puts both the FB and the RB in the flats, in opposing directions. Awesome play. These are all assuming the knucklehead catches the ball, of course.

If you've got a good offensive line, you can look for delay routes as well. Sometimes these can give the RB a flats pass with noone around. But beware...more often than not, it'll end up a sack, because the play takes forever to develop. If you already know what delay routes are, I apologize. If not, they are plays with blue-colored routes, in which the receiver blocks for a few seconds, then breaks into his flats route..after the defense has been fooled.

Nickel cover 2 zone will take the flats away from the RB, and the deep middle from the RB unless their are passing routes that occupy the linebackers and safeties.

I do... but I prefer the downfield RB routes, like the angle and fly routes.

If the D is in man, you get really good matchups.
