Basically you call the coverage audible so that the alert appears on the screen. Then take control of the guy you want to blitz while slightly holding down the analog stick and pressing the circle button. If the coverage audible alert disappears while your holding down the analog stick, then you're pressing it to hard. The coverage audible alert keeps the guy from jumping off sides. The circle button is the speed burst button and it allows the player you're controlling to get a fast jump at the start. When your opponent snaps the balls the player you're controlling will get a super jump start. In my opinion it's not as effective in NCAA 2005 as it was in NCAA 2004.

How do you do it in Xbox, the speed burst button changes which player you are controlling prior to the snap or is the coverage audible not allowing you to change the player you are controlling?

It is still faster than using the speed button, I think with the slower the game is has affected the AB Blitz.
