My friends and i are sick and tired to the deep ball threat. Stoping elite wide receivers such as USC # 1 is almost impossible if the opponent has decent stick skills along w/ other plays that fource you to have to manually cover other receivers. But we started playing a different way and when the deep ball was thrown into double coverage 20 times only twice was the reciever able to come down w the ball. And these lobs were thrown with the almighty USC. If the computer didnt intercept the ball, they either swated it down or nocked the ish... out of # 1. What did we do? We moved the setting to heisman level. This sucks online for the fact that to do this you have to play unranked, but boy does it make the game fun again. Its extremly difficult to score, but i suck in NCAA so im used to not scoring often. But the game becomes a thinkings man game again, which makes it more enjoyable for me

That does make a huge difference. I have always thought the ranked games should be set to heisman. It made a huge difference last year if you did the same thing. Heisman literally elimnates all the BS antics people do. My friends and I that play here at the house always set the game to heisman when we play for bragging rights.
I can't stand when my T.O.P is like 14 minutes and someone hits 2 out of the 20 deep balls to tie or take the lead. or worse yet the almighty 4th and 24 chunk it deep, and they pick up a first down.
I think I am gonna check out the ESPN game and see what thats like, cause I don't like to play the CPU I like playing people. EA NCAA is the only game that I have for my PS2, and what this game has turned into ONLINE really is sad.

Hey GlovesOff, FLAPride, if you guys are looking to run a few sim-style games without all the BS, please, please look me up. I've been online a few times, but I only play my buddy from out of state because we both hate having to deal with all the bull that has already flooded the servers. The next time you guys are on, just send me a friend invite or add me to you buddy list. My online name is JusPlayStr8.
Thanks guys! Looking forward to some real ball sometime soon.
Take care,

Thanks for the link.....the concept is great....I joined yesterday.....and was looking forward to some gr8 sim games...with other football purists. However, to my chagrin, after one post....in the availability section I recieved this PM from one of the moderators:
welcome to the s.o.b.
I just want to let you know that any bull**** at all here will mean your toast, no if's and's or but's.
stay cool and everything will be alright.
the choice is yours.
later, joe.
Quite a warm welcome indeed. I have asked ColdGin to remove my name from the membership list. Pity, I so looked forward to some good str8 games.

Gloves....I would like to play you some good str8 football. It will have to be in some other venue than S.O.B.....I was banned today, as I expected to be. I only asked to have my name removed from the member rolls....but it seems that your buddy JoeToronto does not like the fact that I posted his warm greeting in public. I'm sure that most of the members of that site are good peoples.....But the fact that they allow someone of JoeToronto's caliber to be in a position of authority leaves me cold. It's amazing how some people can't seem to act their supposed age online...but revert to the spoiled brats they apparantly where, growing up. :(
