Well I got the game and of course I had to test my run and shoot offense out against the cpu.

I'm seeing A LOT A LOT of man to man coverage by the cpu, and because I have to use a lot of motion , I'm getting a huge advantage over the defense..

Basically I can call 4 wide hail mary or any 4 wide pass
Start to Motion a slot and watch his defender follow him, stop the motion call Shotgun Wide Speed option right, motion the right slot to the left and WaLAAA I've got a HUGE HUGE hole to run through because their is no defensive force play. The play has already become a money play.

While its true my "Go" route lost its usual effectivens in exploiting the flat because the DBS jump all over that the, next inside wr is usually WIDE WIDE open on his streak route.

Because defenses knew that Run and shoot coaches WERE READING their defense based on how they reacted to motion, many defensive teams began to mix up up coverages or bump defenders to avoid giving run and shoot teams this advantage, even the video games stopped doing it so not since Madden 92 have cpu defenses been this easy to exploit and read for me.

See, I was getting alot of zone coverages. At least against Texas and Louisiana-Monroe.

I'm getting the same thing when I play against the cpu. Nothing but zone after zone after zone.

If I go shotgun wide, my left side is man and right side is zone, sucks when you call HB direct snap going to the strong side :o
