How does a running back read a running play? What does he look for in the D line and the Linebackers. How does he read when to go between the tackles or bounce it out. What should I be watching for before and during a run play?

Well, you should always start off by running towards the proper gap. While doing so, keep an eye on the nearest linebacker and see how he is playing. You want to get him to commit to a hole and then break away from him. As far as breaking a play to the outside, you check to see if the outside linebacker has let himself get caught inside or if he is keeping a contain position.

Know your gap and be patient. Follow your blockers. I really like running lead counter plays or any lead play for that matter just because you do have that lead blocker to follow.

Using overhead view is really helpful in this situation. When I am looking down on the field, I can c where defenders r positioned. I may opt to run to another area if the defense is positioned wrong. Like when u have 2 receivers to one side. For some strange reason, people shift to that side. I love it!!!! :D :D :D I will always look to go where there is least resistance. I like to run inside also.... now that the blocking is better. The people at EA still hasn't fixed the fb blocking I c... I hate that. I still get frustrated when I c a blocker ignore a defender closer to the play, and run down the field to someone I will never reach. Bcause the man he left behind has made the tackle.... DOOOOOODDDD!!!!!!
