Im having problems running pass plays against 3-4 d any good plays out please help :confused:

If there in man throw to slots your gonna have mismatches, if they run zone go long since it works ridicoulusly well or depending on the zone throw over the middle.

see thats the the problem i go shotgun to three wide and there should be mismatches but for whatever reason miami just is tha **it linebakers can cover anybody

The best strategy I have agaisnt 3-4 is to run it up the gut a few times. You have a mismatch with 5 down lineman and usually a fullback against only 3 Defensive linemen (depending on if they are blitzing LB's). It will soften the middle up a bit and most of the time they will drop out of the 3-4 because they are getting pounded.

I agree run right up their gut with a FB lead blocking its extremely hard to stop the power run game from the 3-4 defense. Even if they dont switch out of the 3-4 they will have to move their LB's down by the line or blitz them and even then with a lead blocker you should be able to eat them up on the ground. If they're stubborn and stick to the 3-4 just run for 300 yards on them then. :p
