one of the main reasons that I see things not get replys on this sight is because it has probably been discussed before... just look back a bit... you'll probably find it... also check the other threads.. those have helpful things that you could use... as for a reply from me... GET IN LINE SON, WE HAVE PLENTY OF HATERS LIKE YOURSELF SO YOUR NEGATIVE HATRED IS MEANINGLESS. FYI BMF DOMINATED THE MADDEN 04 ONLINE SCENE AND I KNOW FOR A FACT WE (THE REAL BMF) ALL HAD DIFFERENT STYLES AND WERE VERY MUCH SO TOPS IN ORIGINALITY. THE MORE YOU KNOW THE BETTER IS WHY ANY NORMAL PERSON POSTS. IM ASKING FOR HELP IN THE 3-4 /3-3-5 FORMATIONS TRUST ME I HAVE A VERY STEADY DEFENSE WITHOUT THESE FORMATIONS. BUT LIKE I SAID YOU CAN NEVER KNOW 2 MUCH. THE DAY YOU DO IS THE DAY YOU GET YA NOSE BLOODIED BY SOMETHING NEW.

With the 3-3-5 I'd suggest bringing pressure off the edge with your strong safeties. It can be a tough defense to deal with if you know how to run it. When playing online you'll want to keep an eye out on your linebackers and safeties. You can't turn the Man Shift to Manual (at least not that I'm aware of) so your players will at times leave the box depending on your play called. Play a few games against the cpu and run the 3-3-5 and 3-4 the entire game so that you can get familiar with what works for you. I'd suggest playing against different types of offenses especially run oriented offenses. Most guys online when they see the 3-3-5 they assume they can easily run against itl but soon find out otherwise. The 3-3-5 SS Double Spy is good at containing quarterbacks who like to run with the ball.

I played someone online, I was Penn St. , he was Missouri, I used the 3-3-5 practically the whole game, especially the double spy, works like a charm. I used 3-3-5 and some 4-2-5. He couldn't run Brad Smith at all then. I was alsom mixing in some spy zone plays and the new blitzes from the filmroom.

THANX GUYS FOR YOU HELP. IM GOING TO LAB THESE 2 FORMATIONS UNTIL I AM COMFORTABLE WITH THEM. AND ON THE MANUAL/AUTO MAN SHIFT THING MAD BOMBER YOU CAN SWITCH THEM. THE ONLY THING IS YOU HAVE TO DO THAT OFFLINE UNDER SETTINGS, THEN CONTOLLER SETTINGS AND THEN SAVE YOUR SETTINGS AND PROFILE. BUT WHEN YOU LOG IN ONLINE YOU WILL B STUCK WITH WHICHEVER OPTION YOU HAVE CHOSEN. ALTHOUGH ONCE ONLINE YOU CAN CALL THE AUTO SHIFT OFF(IF YOU HAVE IT ON AUTO) WHENEVER YOU LIKE BY PRESSING "TRIANGLE" THEN "X". THATS WHY I LEAVE MINE SET ON AUTO MAN SHIFT THEN I CAN CALL THE MAN SHIFT OFF WHENEVER I WANT. THIS HELPS IN CONFUSING YOUR OPPONENT AS TO WAT FORMATION (ZONE OR MAN COVERAGE)YOU ARE CALLING. THIS SCHEME WORKS EXCEPETIONALLY WELL WHEN YOU ARE CALLING DOUBLE COVERAGE.

I'm going to keep that in mind, thanks for the tip. It's quite annoying when my linebackers leave the box tipping off my defenses's intentions.
