Here is a good one, what is a good Goalline De against a QB sneek or 3rd and a yard to stop a dive or iso. I used Blitz All and Fire Gaps with no success, pinching the DLIne and LB's, nothing, its a score every time.

Try one of the two 4-4 blitzes where everyone except for the DB's and FS blitz. pinch the line and pinch the LB's. This works if they've got a yard or so to get the first or the score. If they PA, then that's all the better for you, as you will have 2-3 guys in the back field; 2 will hit the intended ball carrier and the other will hit the QB.

Try it out in practice mode first and see the results you'll get for yourself.

Thanks Farmer I will check it out. I feel one thing EA has never done right is the goaline defense in the game, most time with one yard or two to go it is to easy to get a TD. How the vg playbook suggests to play the goaline works better, but the offense will most likely score, unless anyone defers.

I don't have the VPB, so I can't comment on that part ( The wife would only allow me to splurge on the film room for now. :( ) but I have noticed that the few games I played online, one guy did this to me when I lined up in any formation other than shotgun and he got immediate pressure on me.

I have an good De on 3rd and goal, or against goaline passing, MOst times I will get an Int with this play. 3-3-5 cover 2 mlb spy. The MLB takes away the slant and the two safeties take away the flats, with the coners playing 2 deep. This play just clogs the whole endzone up, I like to even drop one of my DEnds pretty shallow to help the MLB take away any slants. With only three rushing I figure there won't be much of a pass rush anyway. You just have to watch for those scrambling QB's
