i'm not sure on this but help me out,

everyone talks about, oh ya know...spread out the linebackkers hitem short then go deep, read the safety's and audible and make them commit to one..so on.

For me i just play alot. i remember the money plays that work for certain yardage, and use those. And with all the playing time my stick skills improve to where im manual catching ball that shouldnt be cought, and user picking with guys that shouldnt be in on the play.

no one here seems to do that (it just seems like that) , i never lose to friends and was like 7-1 online before i got cheesed like 5 times and quit.

so does anyone else do this or is it alot more effective to do the "analitical" way.

i just wanna be able to kill all my friends, nuthing more, nuthing less...

thats exactly what we are doing, its just we do it by understanding what the d does and picking a play that can get some success against that d.

Yea I do alot of switching to WR's to catch balls that alot of time they wont and switching to DB's for deflects and int's but its best to know how to read the plays as well. You never know your friends may learn to control the WR's and DB's just as you do, then you need to beat them on strategy.

Also remember....there are plays that will work against certain defenses...and plays that won't. If you are playing someone that likes to blitz every play....then short crossing passes or quick outs to the TE will slow them down. If they like to bring the heat from the outside then inside running will stop that. If they like to drop back and protect the long ball....then toss plays and counters will bring them up on the line.

Point is....for every action...there is a reaction....I think Newton said that....and it's true in physics as well as Football. Learning the reaction from different sets will give you a MUCH better chance for a positive action.
Stick skills are great to have....and can, in some instances give you the edge you need....but sometimes they won't be enough....and knowing money plays is ok too....but remember...other people can learn and already know the money plays as well as you do....so the BEST way to insure a better than even shot at a "W" is to learn the game.....analytically....learn to read the defenses...and the offenses....go to the Practice field and test out different ideas....learn how to read the "reads" the QB should make....learn how the LB's can pick up on the motions....learn how to spy the safeties and get a big jump on defenses by their actions....

when you do this....you will find....when watching a REAL game...you can impress the hell out of your friends when you tell them what is gonna happen on a certain play when you see the safeties drop back and the Corners pinch in. They will begin to think you actually know what the hell your talking about. :p
