He needs to shut his ball dropping pie hole and just play ball. Why can't him and Ocho Cinco just fade off into the football Diva sunset.

If only he was half as good as he thinks he is, jeez!

Are you f*cking kidding me? TO's a great receiver, but a horrible mouth.

Yes, Owens is worthless.
The guy only pulls extra coverage his way nearly every play. He's the best receiver on the team regardless of his drops. Him complaining about not getting enough balls is nothing new and it's nothing new to any of the prima donna receivers.

You know, I'd like to see them take that shot. They have Roy Williams now, and T.O. is probably taking up more cap space than you think. With the way Jerry Jones manages a team, they very well could be. You think about it in the way that Jones could get himself a solid backup to Williams and another skilled position with the amount of money T.O. is using.

It's a team game, he just hasn't realized that yet. Check last year, it was the Brady to Moss show up until the Super Bowl. Then it was the Giants defense show... Just goes to show, one man can't take down an army.

Yeah, I wonder how the team would react to Owens being cut. I wonder if it'd be "oh ****, we better straighten up" or if it'd be "wtf, I guess it doesn't matter if we win now." You never know until it happens.

One only has to ask - how many Championship rings does T.O. have?

Answer = 0 .....

11 Super Bowl champions since he's been in the league, none of them have had T.O. The one time he did get to the big game, the team had to go through the playoffs without him to make it there.

He did all he could do in that superbowl. That loss falls straight on the shoulders of your boy McNabb. Not Reid.....McNabb.

Sorry. It's always Reid's fault. But we're not talking about that game, we're talking about T.O. thinking that a team can't win a championship without him - yet he's never won one. It would be different if he had a couple rings from a couple of different teams.

But none of those teams won a championship without him either. Otherwise you'd have a point. Matter of fact, none of those teams have performed better without him.

Lets see though...

49ers - Had Jerry Rice, once he left, they started to get worse anyway, even with T.O. there.

Eagles - Still have Andy Reid calling the shots and McNabb throwing. You can make the argument that their offense looks better without him. I'd rather a heavy dose of Brian Westbrook rather than a heavy dose of McNabb to TO. But that's just me.

Cowboys - Looked good in the mid 90s, but when their stars left [Smith, Irvin, Aikman] their team turned into a rebuilding mode. Obviously they didn't look as good before they got him, because they didn't have the team they have today [No Romo, Barber was unpolished, no DWare, weak offensive line, etc..]

Don't mean any harm, just playing Devil's Advocate for a minute.

Ehh, you don't get a heavy does of Westbrook with Reid though, lol.

The Eagle offense with Owens was damn near unstoppable. I remember Gibbs made a great analogy of it a little while back comparing it to a Tyson fight. McNabb, Owens, and Westbrook weren't gonna be stopped, they'd generate 3+ possesion leads, and the game would be basically over before it even started. That allowed a defense that already got after the QB to relentlessly pin their ears back and let loose.

It was old and nobody cared, Fresno may have not met expectations but no collapse. We have had some tough injuries but I am still looking forward to the Boise game, If we can win that one it will still be a good season. Most people wouldnt mind an 8-4 season.

Your sig is somewhat misleading since it was posted at the beginning of the season and I wasnt meaning to say Fresno should always be ranked higher then Boise, At that time I felt they should of but of course not now.

The Cowboys like Fresno were not able to meet everyones expectations.

6-4 is a collapse? Gtrght you on the same planet as us?

(note to aliens: Romo is back, Cowboys are no longer under Johnson)

And what's this about it always being Andy Reid's fault? Reid threw 30 incompletions and 3 picks against the freaki'n Bengals last weekend?

Also, weren't the Eagles smashing teams with TO in the line-up?

And haven't the Eagles continued to lose close games without him, the past 2 years?

Yeah, I'm sure they wish they had his 15 TDs, because the 15-20 McRehab chucks in won't get it done. It has not historically.

When you have Superbowl expectations, 6-4 is quite a collapse.

When you started 4-1 and are 2-3 since then you are going downhill. They are just a half game ahead of Phili for last place in the division. Call it what you want but they had Superbowl expectations and are now fighting just to make the playoffs.

I think they will finish out the rest of the season 3-3 to go 9-7.

A downhill slump is not a collapse. How about the Patriots? Are they having a collapse because they're 6-4? They lost their starting QB for the season, were expected to be as good, if not better than last year. But they're 6-4 and on the verge of playoff contention.

The Cowboys are in a slump too, mainly because Romo was injured. How many of their four losses came without Romo? Two right? Give it a wash, and they're 7-3, easily with a great chance of the playoffs. But nope, they've had injuries and since slid.

It's not a collapse, it's a slump. Get it right.

I been saying it forever KKingstyle

the biggest thing with TO is he's a freak of nature. It takes 2 dudes to tackle him everytime. Clements laid out Witten later on, but could not get Owens from behind earlier

and phug TO to begin with, this dude ain't ***** without Romo escaping a sack, running up in the pocket and hitting homie in dead stride 40 yards downfield ahead of the coverage

Romo is sick

sanantonio

TO is a freak no doubt and he is good but he's better in his mind then he truly is, he dropped two very catchable passes that thank goodness were not critical to the game. I just wish he would STFU chill and play ball. If he has a gripe go to that individual like a man and stop playing this shyt out in the media. In an interview he needs to learn how to say "I'll get back atcha on that one".

If you dont cut and paste a bunch of shyt that has nothing to do with the main point you trying to get across then people dont really take you seriously. I think some people copy and paste wikipedia shyt around here. Always remember, 7 to 8 paragraphs means that you are really smart, and that trumps someone using 3 sentences to smack you in the face with the truth. Thats the VG way.
