need advice on stopping Shot trips TE

I played this guy online he used the rams and ran no huddle shotgun trips te whole game. every play the same he dropped bulger back 20+yds and passed ball.
first I tried blitzing to get to Bulger but the extreme drop made that impossible. 2nd I went to a quarters and lb rush still couldn't get him. so I move to a nickel 3-3-5 cover three and played enhanced zone this slowed him down a bit but didn't really stop him
in the end he beat me in Ot 13 -6... He knocked both Favre and Couch out of game in 1st half. Doug Pederson couldn't do the job for me. :(
Any suggestions on a good D scheme to counter the Shotgun Trips TE I currently use the balanced d book since last year I utilized a bend don't break philosophy, but it seems this year is calling for more aggressive d play.

he dropped 20 yards back with Marc Bulger and you couldnt get to him??? you sure your little sister didnt put the 04 disc in your PS when you werent around?

bulger is really slow, so id manually rush with a db

Seems like in all pro you can drop back pretty far without harm..BS if you ask me..just dont play him anymore or move up a level.

spread line out and have them rush to the outside (R3+Up)...you can also use a LB and run him into one of the OT's

theres no way u can possibly b serious. i think these questions shud b posed by people with atleast sum football acumen... I mean cmon he didnt even say how the dude killed him which leads me to b leave he just dropped back and hit people. which neabs u suk... hoo wouldnt hav thought of controlling the DE and pass rushing all day long, even if u dont get the sack force him to throw going backwards 3 and out everytime. i can c if u sed he used sum great play. but ur saying Marc Bulgers FEET caused u problems all game? WTF?????????? His brother didnt slip in 04 his brother slipped in the NCAA 2000 when bulger was in his WEst Virginia dorm sleeping and dreaming about beating ANYONE with his feet.

PS this cant b a real question, is there a hidden camera sumwhere????????????

Velcro 9 is still a play? what playbook, and is it still in Nickle Blitz? I thought they took out that formation

Nickel Blitz is not in anymore...but yeah, Velcro's still here :)

I think its just in the Nickel - Normal formation...and I think it's in the Balanced D playbook...maybe a couple others but that one for sure.
