Sim is running a game as close to what you see on Sunday as possible. Basically your not running 9 wr screens a game...no huddling the whole game etc...

The whole "well there are teams that do it" argument DOES NOT work either. If it is not a consistant tactic it's not sim...IE..FullHouse running game...you may seem 2 or 3 teams run it a few times in an entire season....so running FH as your base offense isn't sim.....Running SG the WHOLE game wouldn't be considered sim, etc. Straight just means you don't glitch...

You still may no huddle, FB dive all the time etc...but your not playing the game how EA intended it to be played.

Well, that's a well though out answer. but this is the problem that I have with the claim that your a Sim player. Most Sim players do not play Sim their selves, what i have seen with those who claim that their Sim is when they are on defence they don't play Sim, so in essence they are playing strait style of game, not like in the NFL, most teams in the NFL play man, they don't run zone defence with the double bump. plus how many teams in the NFL run the 46? and all that BS please respond for me RJ

True, but in the real NFL man to man doesn't suck as bad as in this game lol. And sim players dont bump every play, only about out 1 out of 4 defnese plays they use bump.

It's actually pretty close. The difference is that real NFL QB's don't see the entire field like we do and real NFL QB's don't have psychic linemen blocking for them to give them alot of time.

In the NFL there are some teams that bump damn near all the time. Green Bay, Washington, and I think Denver. I know that those teams have their corners in press coverage. It seems like the league is moving to more of a soft coverage and react on the QB arm instead of reading the route through to the QB.

I hear ya man...but if the game doesn't allow you to run man you gotta do what you can do...the simmest players in the world aren't running man...but it's because EA dropped the ball with their programming man, not because sim guys WANT to only play zone lol. I agree with the 46. Running 46 the whole game isn't sim IMO...granted this is all just based on my opinion and I know that I'm a bit over the top but if it's not something that you see REGULARLY on sunday then it's not sim...Some guys will run a different play and formation the whole game but throw nothing but curls...lol...they call it sim cuase it's not the same play...come on man...

I have no problem with tourney style guys, or straight players who arent 100% sim...it's just not my style. It's not fun for me...I play a ton of VG guys, there are even scouting reports on my game...you can have a TON of fun playing sim compared to doing anything in order to win...you become much better all around IMO.

Denver doesn't, when the played the dolphins they allowed everything underneath, like so many curls.. All game long. They were backed up by about 8 yards as if the dolphins had the greatest WRs ever lol.

Thats because Denvers d sucks. If u cant get good pressure ur forced to gamble on a blitz or play coverage.A lot of bad defenses have that bend but dont break philosophy. An the eagles an giants have man 2 man heavy schemes which means they press more times than not.Press coverage happens more than u think. In real life if nobody bumps a dangerous reciever or rolls the coverage their way on a regular basis their askin for trouble.

So its fair to say that most Sim players are realy str8 players? Due to them not using glitches. If its fair to say? But from what I have seen in my games with other players that claim to be some what Sim is like you said they will pull out little tricks to win. Like aud. To the flanker screen out of the Gun. When I see this I just LoL. Its funny how almost every one runs the same O.
