.... Obama on Daschle. Yes Mr. President, ya sure did. And with Keilifer too.
Apparently no one on Capitol Hill pays taxes... lol. Brings back the infamous Helmsley quote, "Only the little people pay taxes"
On another note, anyone got any suggestions for a name for the politics section when Bert puts it up?

WE all predicted this one coming. It is easy to dish it out, but difficult to take it, no? ;)
AS far as the first week in this "administration", it is like children trying to do big people's jobs IMO.

Just a suggestion, but you could also lump the Religion/Politics together. Here's a pic : http://s3.amazonaws.com/mmc-digi-beta-production/assets/1802/religion_politics_article.jpg

Has nothing to with that. It's just a never ending circle of back n forth from point to point and at the end of the day most of it means absolutley nothing and that includes my takes as well. So I'm done with it there are more important things to discuss like football and mma :D. You losers have fun :p.

I don't see how it makes much of a difference, it's just a sub-forum. Less work for Bert.

Then leave them where they are... even less work for Bert... lol
Seriously though, the religion threads don't come up that often and usually die after a couple days.

Let's not forget about Geihtner (sp?). Why is it that Obama insists on surrounding himself with questionable people? Why keep nominating people who have tax problems?
On a side note, Obama's approval ratings have tanked since people started finding out about what the "stimulus" bill actually has in it.

People need to be straight with him on their taxes when he talks to them about cabinet posts. I think Keilifer was the only one who was.
As for approval ratings "tanked", i dunno about that... what are they?
I think the bill should pass as is with the ability to adjust later. Things need to get moving, bogging it down isn't helping anything right now. Get it in gear so that a lot of the infrastructure items and other job creating items can start rolling out - people need jobs now.

His approval ratings were somewhere in the 80's after election. Now, last I heard, they were down to around 45%.

The approval rating I'm talking about might not be the overall approval rating...rather, the approval rating of Obama's first two executive orders.

That was a very insightful post.
The point stands, the American public is not happy with his first two executive orders...nor are they happy with his cabinet appointments. Appointing tax cheats and frauds doesn't usually sit well with tax paying citizens who make a fraction of what these guys make.
By the way, I don't post random bs. You want random bs? Go read some of the threads by the trolls on this site.
