You know that Pelosi has a private jet, right? She's the first Speaker to have their own private jet. You know, the same woman who's teamed up with Harry Reid and others to castigate corporations and CEO's for having private jets...

The first Speaker of the House offered a private jet was a republican.

The jet was offered by then President Bush with the military blessing.

Then Press Sec, (RIP) Tony Snow had this to say. After September 11th, the Department of Defense -- with the consent of the White House -- agreed that the Speaker of the House should have military transport. And so what is going on is that the Department of Defense is going through its rules and regulations and having conversations with the Speaker about it. So Speaker Hastert had access to military aircraft and Speaker Pelosi will, too.

So when the first female Speaker of the House of Reps, stood up for herself when she stated that she wanted to be treated on the same criteria as a man, the right tried to pounce and demonize her!

Do the Math Dennis Hastert, congressman Ill, his jet requires less jet fuel for a direct flight back to Washington D.C. for a National Emergency.

Nancy Pelosi San Fran Calli requires a jet with a larger fuel payload for like emergencies for direct flights back to Washington.

As far as the C-32 military cargo aircraft version of the Boeing 757, per rep at Andrews AFB, Pelosi has used the C-32 only once. This was due to lack of available smaller aircraft. The main aircraft she has used are the C-20 and C-37, both Gulfstream jets used by Airforce Generals, Secretary's of the different branches of the military.

Fact, she does not have a private jet, she goes into the queue with everyone else and schedules with the Airbase her travel plans. She gets what's available but i am sure her priority is one step or two below the Press, Air Force One, and the VP Air Force 2, I wonder if she has a call sign of Air Force 3? My guess.

I'm going to look into the statement that she isn't the first...however, the fact STILL remains, it is hypocritical to tell corporations that THEY can't have, or fly on private jets, and yet turn around and do it yourself.

The above being the subject of his thread here's a thought...how bout the fact that neither party understands. We've had 8 years of mismanagemnt prior (housing, trade, etc. just to name few) and now Dems are throwing gasoline on the fire. The current two party system is a joke. That's just my two cents I'm out!
