people need to stop complaining. If you tell someone they're running a fag d, obliterate it. If you can't then that's your fault.

quarters man 3 deep, play-maker ends in to buzz zones, user the middle safety and protect the middle of the field.
Times when this D would work, prevent situations or when you want to make your opponent eat up time on offense, say when you are up two scores and you want to run time off the clock in the 4th.
I personally do not like this Defense when I'm on offense. That's why I will run it at the right moments on defense. Is there such thing as a fag d? Sort of. If someone is running prevent in the first quarter or this d for instance, its definitely annoying and pussy in my opinion, your basically just letting the dude your playing move the ball up the field in small chunks.
Regardless, the reason this D can be annoying is because it almost eliminates quick plays for more than ten yards if ran efficiently. The buzz zones take a away the quick out by a TE or slot. the 3 deep makes it harder to hit corners or posts to the middle, and with everyone in man, if you miss or hesitate on your initial read, your forced to improvise and wait for something to get open, which can sometimes result in trouble more often than not. Also, why this is good is because it forces you to hit the middle of the field where you should be lurking with the middle safety and where the clock will keep running.
I ran this D in the 4 th quarter last night vs a guy who I was beating by ten. I wanted him to consume as much time as possible as well as get rid of his rocket catch route, while also taking away a deep post which would allow him to score quickly. In the end I got a pick and then went up 30-14. The reason I'm posting this is bc after that he started qb walking me, then went up a td, and almost dced me, until I convinced him not to. I wont say his gamertag cuz he didn't end up dcing me, but the reason he said he was cheating was because I was running fag d. (not to mention that he was running the exact same defense in the 2nd quarter before the half.)
I just want some of your opinions. Ive been getting cheated alot lately and it sucks.
This defense is beatable. you can take the small chunks in the middle, run the ball, or you can attack it's weak points.
What I run against it.
Flat routes by Running backs out of the back field. They beat the end to the sidelines before he gets there. pick up of 10 yards, plus the ability to run out of bounds.
Curl routes. Whether you can RC or not, curls by your slot receiver will be wide open for ten , and if you extend it, even more.
Waiting for something to get open. Put 3 receievers on go routes to draw the deep zones back, then work with what you get underneath you have all the time in the world. (Which might not be what you want to hear)
Put an rb on a crl in the middle then play maker him to the gaps in the d.
Run with your qb, I picked up 15 yards with Roethlisberger when he ran it on me.
If you need like 30 yards and this gets ran on on. Run this combo. To the far side come out in a spread or 5 wide. Put your far side outside receiever on a go, the slot on an out and smart route it. then on the opposite side put your slot on a go, and then your outside on a dig and smart route. Whichever one your opponent keys on throw to the opposite.
