This league is filling out very well, but we need to get to a better all round game plan to further this league. I my self feel that we need to pass on tips, that we have. to the players who have a larger learning curve. this way we as a league will grow as a men's Madden League. what are your take on this?

People are always going to keep their closest secrets close to them no matter what. Can I blame them? No, some people spend good money buying playbooks and/or put a lot of work in the lab and don't just want to give away this information.

I don't have any problems giving someone some of the basic tips and other things I have learned on my own, but I can't give away information that was given to me in an e-book or whatever.

I think people don't realize how much time they actually need to spend labbing to become a serious contender in Madden. I know I am limited on time so I don't lab as much as I need to thus making me just an average caliber madden player.

I can't tell you how many times I play people online that have absolutly no scheme as at all. They know money plays but can't formulate a way to put them into a scheme. I really think we need to start labbing more with each other and practice things like

Defending the RC
Defensive Stick Work
Defensive Schemes
Offensive Schemes

Ect.

Just my 2 cents.

even though im one of the weaker players in the league , i have no problem labbing with someone that wants to learn. also i bought the virtual play book wich helped me alot.

Honestly, I dont even play anymore unless Im playing league. Im really almost just wore out on this game. I wouldnt play at all, but I like you guys and I like the leauge so I will stick out till madden 10.

I don't lab anymore because I cant play till like 10 everynight cause I have my daughter. It has deffinately showed up in my game as I just don't have it anymore. Unless you are playing regularly then you miss reads and can't react quick enough.

One reason that I ask this, is when ShowStopper and I play be it for fun or in League Play are game's are defensive wars. Some time I win some time Show wins. But working on different aspects of our own game made us very close in game play. So as I know when we play I must play a mistake free game due to Show's RC being so tight. Now if this was like say Dec. Then working on the RC with Show would take my game to the next level. And yes al10c, I would have to lab the run with you, to make a better chose on playbook to show of my run. This is how our league will grow IMO.
And Vegas you make a real good point. But our league is gearing up for Madden 10. Since Aug. Is around the corner. We can be a very good crew/league when madden10 is out. Sim player's learning curve is a little easier IMO when you have this great unknown, inwich is Madden10.

i hear ya, i dont have much time myself and when i take a wek off im almost gauranteed 3 loses before i shake the rust off. but im not a big gamer, madden is all i really play so its easier me to stay in shape so to speak.

At this point in the season, the only games I am playing are league games. However, if you catch me on and want to lab, I'm all for it.

Just send me a request.
