Is online worth it?

all i have seen so far on this site is glitches and cheaters online. i have been contemplating xbox live for a while but is it really worth it? do you ever have a fair, fun game??

Its awesome!!Join a league or a website that has its own room password protected(like MaddenMania) and you will have plenty of fun at hours on end...or just play guys from this site..Ill play you...

To be honest Bro, nothing is as fun for a hardcore Madden player than playing online. As fun as Madden is against the cpu it is easily 20 times better playing head to head. Althuogh there is a downside such as :the game moves slower,sore losers, and just complete idiots. Though alot of times you will play people with class and it is great.

its fun but when you dont get credit or stats for your wins is sucks.then you get disconnected alot .other than that its cool.

Its sweet. You also learn alot about how players play and how to defend offensive schemes. I have a freind that I play head to head. I started to play online and he didn't. Now the game aren't even close. :D It is a great experience. Not good enough to get devorce over it.LOL :rolleyes:

Madden Online is the bomb diggity... All that and a bag of chips. And any other "You Need to get it" cliche`.

Here are the best reasons

1) All games are clothing optional
2) If you order a pizza, you won't have to share
3) You get to drink all 6 bottles of the 6 pack (soft drinks of course..lol)
4) You get to face all types of strategies and players if you choose to
5) Not limited to the guys you can get to your couch
6) The only guy abusing your controllers is you
7) Hard to get into trouble playing Madden
8) No one to rub it in when you lose

Reading message boards around the net will scare you, but the complaints you read are NOWHERE NEAR accurately describing the online landscape. This is my 3rd year of accepting random challengers and I run up against "cheese" play in less than 10% of my games.

for me it's worth it. I've only played 9 games so far but have yet to lose. actually 11 games but 2 didn't count. this game is alot about the playcalling which I love about it.

Its great and highly addictive. Youll get mad a lot at the tactics used but still come back for more. My first thing id advise you is learn to play against bump n run since 9 of 10 online do it every play....and at least have your Defensive audibles set and memorized because half of them are no huddle freaks too. i play mostly Play Now games and the new filter where you can set the opponents you are connected to under a certain % is great and has pretty eliminated the quitters for me....plus the leagues are the best....unless you have a ton of friends to play head to head with at home its the way to go...beats the hell out of playing the cpu

I think it's the only wat to go ... You have to find a league with STRAIGHT BALLERS ...players who don't wine or cheese when they are losing...once you find the right mix, well I've been in SAPML for almost a year and it been LOADS of fun

I Just Luv Online...only Played 6 Times But It Is Great --- The Strategy/adjustments/game Plan ----- Amazing.....wish I Was A Kid So That I Could Hang Out All Day & Play!!!!

way worth it. I got the xbox version and the glitch people are far and few between. If they cheat on you you can easily block and never have to worry about them again. plus you can always leave feedback.
