Ok first off let me apologize for leaving and putting a bad taste in everyone's mouth. The best way I could put it is I used to invest all my pride in a single game of madden, so as you can tell I didnt handle losing well. I've never lost to any of my friends in my other league so thats part of why I'm reacted like i did, I just wasnt used to losing. It's pretty rediculous when you think about it, I mean this is a video game, I've realized this.

So after I left i started my own league, It looked great, I had several players in the top 100 the bar was set high.. I was pumped. But to my surprise things fell apart after the first three games. I had people coming at me from every angle saying "he broke this rule" and "he did this glitch". It was hectic trying to sort out these stories and see who was telling the truth.. I really just gave up. But in the process I found about 4 guys that are legit players. They played by the rules and we had some great games (even though I lost a few). But we couldnt really have a 5 guy league.

So I'm asking you guys to let me and my guys join up, they are active on XBL and also post actively on the forum. They arent complainers and they won't pull any bs. Like I said I'm done with my whole "sore loser" thing. Like I told book we all just want to have fun in a madden league. So book said it's all good and I can come back with my guys and to go ahead and post whats going on with this whole thing and I really appreciate that he is giving me another chance but i want to leave it up to you guys. No hard feelings either way I'm not expecting to be forgiven for my actions just like that, but I'm being honest with you guys.. real talk. Just let me know how you feel and whatever you say it's all good.

My point is, i wouldnt have cheesed u (as you call it), if u hadnt started that bs deep post route every other play... So, if u do come back and u play me, dont start crying afterwards like a little girl.. I still think u a punk, but its whatever... Everytime i play u, u got some bs excuse after the game.. First off, you have a lot of courage for coming in front of the firing squad and giving your apologies. I'm glad that you see how difficult it is to manage a league. What made me chuckle a little bit was your following comment because it reminded me of some of your posts:

The goal of our league is to get as many credible, reliable, and active members as we can to further increase the competition of our league. Plus when you have more members, interesting things happen. With that being said, your history doesn't tell us that your reliable. Your DNF% and history of connection issues in our league and in your new league are an issue and we don't need to expose our league to that. We are having another league join us and I don't want to expose our new members to that. My vote is No for this year. Maybe 2010 we can start over again.

Besides, there wasn't any competition here for you anyway. Well, except for Lokko when he ran that damn screen pass and 5 wide set. :)

However, I can respect the fact that you came back to our boards and admitted your faults and offered your apologies.

No problem guys I understand. The DNF is becuase I just spent The last couple weeks in my friends dorm who I grew up with (His step dad killed his mom) so he's an emotional wreck as you can imagine. His dorm is at the top of his buliding and I can only get 1 bar of connection in his room for XBL and i get DC'd alot. But I'm going back to my place on monday where i get a good connection. Let me just say the comments I made when I left was out of frustration it wasn't any personal attacks at any of you guys, If you were offended by anything i said just tell me and I will make a personal apology. prior to this incident you can see I'm a pretty friendly guy. My emotions just got the best of me but like I said It's just a game I've moved on.

I just want one shot, I see why you guys feel like you do. But guys Life is about learning from your mistakes, I made a mistake, I've spent some time away and I've learned from my mistake. Just give me one shot I'll put my head on the line if ONE member has any issue with me, I'll leave no questions asked and I will never contact any of you ever again thats how real im bein with you guys. Doesnt everyone deserve a second chance...I wont let you guys down if you can give me a second chance.

Well personally i give u alot of credit for posting ur appology and admiting what a mistake u made. i've been playing madden for years and this is a priceless oppurtunity to play with a bunch of guys that are competitive and enjoy playing as much as i do. i could never picture playing in the lobbies again. also i give Book and Show alot of credit for running this league and keeping it together , it's not as easy as it looks. anytime you get a bunch of guys together its very difficult to make everyone happy. i know first hand as i manage 2 mens baseball teams. i know all about how things get heated in competition, i was a pro softball tournament player for 8 years now i play for fun with my boys twice a week. with that said i have no problem giving u a second chance, but remember one thing , as much as i luv madden and if u beat me its just a game to me . the sun will still rise tomorrow , i will still drive my BMW to the gym and the batting cages every morning , life will go on. so dont think for a minute by beating me you achieved some great accomplishment over me. you are probally a young fool who has no idea the meaning of life yet, i've had my share of second third fourth chances so im fine with it.

Well as soon as i get back home on Monday the disconections aren't gunna be an issue anymore, so dont worry. I'm taking some time to talk to my guys and I'm only bringing the guys that i can really rely on I'm not rolling the dice on anyone. The guys I bring will be straight, you have my word on that. Thanks al I think what you said about me still being young and foolish is very true I mean I'm a freshman in college. don't get me wrong I have been through alot in my short life. I'm the first person in my family to go to college. I put in hours of hard work to earn my scholarship, i've had to balance school, football and taking care of my mom any my little brother. I've had to be the man of my house since i was 14. Alot of people tell me what I've been through is more than most will have to in their entire life, but the truth is i still have alot to learn and I'm not afraid to admit that.

CRYME TYM3, in order for us to allow the league members that your recommending, I need to know the following:

1) What their Xbox live gamer tags?

2) Prior to letting them join, they will need to become a member of the VG forums and post their team selection and GT in the sticky thread where I list all of the active members. If they are not going to be active on the boards, then we don't need them. This league will require people to enter their states into league daddy and post game reviews ,ect. If they don't want to make that commitment, then we will pass on inviting them.

We are trying to get this moving, so we need this to occur ASAP.

I'm not estatic about the decision either, but you have to respect the fact that he came back in front of a firing squad and offering his apologies and admitting his mistakes. We all make mistakes in life. However, the important part is learning from the mistake you made and not allowing it to happen again. It wasnt simply my decision, we have a group of members that were offering up a second chance. This shows the forgiveness of our group. However, the leash is going to be really short so at the first sign of drama / issues we cut ties.

Believe me, the LAST thing that I wanted to do was let drama enter the league. We have league members I play with in another league that I am bringing over here that are great guys and I'm glad they decided to join us. I don't want to expose them to drama.
