defensive coverage

i know its possible to double the wr with a safety if you have a safety in zone coverage.but i wanted to know if its possible to double a slot rec or even assign a safety to cover a rb or te .guys are beating me up hitting the wr in the slot and there rb on corner routes. iknow there is a double slot in the nickle playbook but it is weak against the run.

It's the same as calling double coverage on any other receiver. Press Triangle, then the button of the receiver, then right on the D-Pad and it will take one of your safeties in zone and make him either single cover (no coverage on WR) or double the chosen WR.
