holy sh|t just ran into a Lesnar. That is not fun. So impossible to stop takedowns. He has some nasty special move takedowns. I was using AA and that went so not well

There needs to be a connection status thing for your opponent. I've lost 2 games because I couldn't figure out the timing on strikes from lag. :(

as of right now i think im going to be using

Rashad Evans or Rampage Jackson

wish there was someone i liked size wise to compete with lesnar's wrestling.. but i think ill manage with congo, ill be using mostly evans or jackson for any fight though, also going to create myself :) middleweight division 5'8 185 :) allthough im 195 lol

I've noticed something, if you have a game plan and counter your opponents fighter selection you shouldn't lose, unless you're fighting Brock or it is extremely lagged.

Haven't played the MW division yet to be honest, but I know A. Silva is availabe in LHW. Won my first game online with him via arm bar against Forrest Griffin.
Woulda been nice if Fedor was in the UFC. Him vs Brock would be a lot of fun:D

I officially hate the judges. Just saw my 20 fight win streak snapped. 30-27 on all 3 cards. I controlled the first 2 rounds with take downs and positioning. FÜcking Cecil Peoples score 3 cards or something?? :confused:

I'm 15-0 against Brock using Gonzaga, but officially only 5-0 because most Brock users DC before they lose.

Slams - Clinch, hold L1 - and hit the R stick forward or back.
Give Karo some run.

I absolutely suck at this game right now, but it is still addicting.
People get full mount on me so easily and a can't figure out how.
I also can't get full mount when I put people on the ground.

My stand-up is pretty good, but the fights I've lost have been matches where my opponent had great standujp and were able to keep it off the mat. Once it goes to the ground, I win. No one avoids more than one or two subs from me. I don't do nearly as well with guys that lack ground games, unless I have a good Muay Thai clincher like Wandy.

ok, im 3-0 in career mode, lol and i have yet to clinch up with an opponent or have a takedown attempt. lol, im having fn but i gotta learn the whole game.

Okay I'm a decent way into career mode (on 360). Just faught Thales Leites. He was constantly shooting for takedown. I stuffed a number of them, but eventually he took me down. I tried using the right stick to grapple block but he kept getting mount with EASE.
What the **** do I do? It's an instantaneous mount. Then I get pummeled.
I absolutely suck at this game right now, but it is still addicting.
People get full mount on me so easily and a can't figure out how.
I also can't get full mount when I put people on the ground.
On the bottom of the full mount, just go for transitions. What else is there for you to do?
On top, if you're holding L1 or LB - you'll never get full mount, so transition without it.

This game is all about playing people. I will never play Career Mode.
I've mastered subs. My brother is great at transitions and ground D. It's either a tap or a full mount beat-down. I win more than him, but he keeps improving. It's easier for me to sub him than it is for him to mount me.
Every other game online results in my opponent DC'ing, but it's irrellevant. If they DC, that means I won - regardless of what the server says.

You'll get there. Get fast with the transitions, learn when to block them, and learn ground and pound or when to sub.
Watch the stamina of both fighters and attack - or back off - accordingly.

lol sorry man I started work yesterday again. I'll be available probably Sunday sometime. Friday I'm going to the Cubs game and Saturday I need to go to Indiana for law school stuff.
I can probably get 1 or 2 guys to play , I just wonder if we can get another VGer or two ...
If you clear 'em, they're ok by me.
The disconnects are seriously getting ridiculous now. One out of every five fights actually finishes. Take it like a man, damnit!!! ;)

I just got this for the PS3, mainly because the 360 version was all sold out. One of the advantages of having every system known to man.
I did play the 360 demo and that was fun, although I really had no clue what I was doing.
But you guys know I am always down for another beating, LOL. So if a PS3 league gets up and running, count me in.
We're doing a 360 one, so let me know if I can help you guys with setting up the Ps3 one. You can use our draft room if you like, as long as you aren't drafting Tuesday night (June 2nd). I also have a very simple way to draft, set up the schedule, and to score.

It's 5 rnds I was just going to do a draft thread. 5 rounds, 8 players shouldn't take too terribly long. I need to find myself 8 players first lol. I got 3 (counting myself)

I think you need a link to this section in the Sports Bar - because I don't think anyone has noticed this section yet. I think there was more interest than just you and two others. I remember Miracle, DSF, AD, Skins, and a few others expressing interest.

I played for a bit last night. Great game. Much deeper than I originally thought it was. Its like a combination of Fight Night and WWE , with some Street Fighter combos thrown in....yet its really a unique experience.
I am definitely down for a PS3 league.
If you can guarantee AD to get Rampage and can talk Nevada Ballin into doing it, you have six - and it will work with six.
Just give AD the #1 pick or somethin'. Get the ball rollin'!!!.
