View Full Version : 360 UFC Undisputed League Rules & Contact Info
Setup:
I'll post a link to the draft room once we get a time and date we can all agree upon. Draft order will be randomly set - and will reverse each round - except in the 5th (final) round, when it will go from last to first (8,7,6...) to balance the teams. (Otherwise, it would go 1,2,3...)
After the draft, schedules will be set - one game a week. There is no hard deadline, but know that if you fall more than a week behind on playing your matches - you risk being removed from the league. Everyone will play everyone one time per season, in a five match game where each weight division will be represented by the fighter drafted by the player for that division. (We might continue on with subsequent seasons if the interest is there.) Once all five matches are played, whoever has won more of the five - gets the win while the player having lost more games gets the loss. The records within the five games are kept, but only for tiebreaker purposes. The winning fighter will be expected to post the results of each match - and they can also post recaps if they want. This will go in the 360 UFC Results Thread.
Post all your contact info here:
Include your GT and the best way to contact you. If the best way to contact you is by phone, PM it to me - and I'll compile a list and PM it to all league members.
Draft time is tentatively set for Tuesday Night at 8 pm est. If you cannot make it then, post here - and I'll change the date and time accordingly.

We can move it if you want. It's only a tentative time and date.
How about your two buddies? Both of them make eight.
Going to be using a temporary GT. Should be getting my main one back in the next few days but don't want to hold this up any.
GT: Pro Swagga
Email: magickstyle@gmail.com
Between the two I should be able to get back to you soon enough. Once I get my main GT back I will let everyone know.
Will there be any rules? Like stand up only :D Kidding, I should be decent on the ground about time the league starts up.

OK, you got it.
We're at 7 now, so anyone who wants in would make it eight.
Right now: me (GAV60), my brother (uses my GT), my friend (Kingtalktoomuch), ATM (Pro Swagga), Aldogg (Aldogg33), CJ (TG304), and CJ's boy (Slayer45895). That makes seven.
I could get one more, but he would probably be low-man because he isn't very skilled.
No rules, other than no disconnecting and no turbo.
We'll do our draft, here: Chatroom (http://www.chatmaker.net/chatap/rooms/a2132/) - on Tuesday, June 2nd - at 8pm est.
If they ask for a password, it's maddentips.

I need the draft delayed a half hour, I get out of work at 8. I apologize for the inconvenience.

NP, 830pm est it is.
We have our 8th fighter. Him, and his brother, will play on the GT - Kingtalktoomuch. I'll post the draft order tomorrow. Draft order will reverse each round, except for the 5th (last) round - so that the early drafters don't have a big advantage over the later drafters.
Round 1: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
Round 2: 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
Round 3: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
Round 4: 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
Round 5: 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
So early drafters benefit in rounds 1 & 3, while late drafters benefits in rounds 2, 4, & 5.
Couple questions.
Will the rounds be specific as to what class we're drafting for like
Round 1 - Heavyweights
Round 2 - Light Heavy
Round 3 - Middle
etc
or will we just have to make sure we draft 1 fighter from each class no matter what round we get them in?
Also I know Middleweights can fight in the Light Heavyweight class same for Lightweight and Welterweight will we be able to have 2 fighters from let's say Middleweight 1 could be used for Light Heavyweight the other for Middle?
Other then that i'm ready to go.

You aren't limited to drafting any specific weight class at any time, but you need to field a team that can represent every class.
Each fighter can only represent one division, but if you draft a fighter that is eligible in two weight classes - put them in the weight class that best suits your team.
For example - if you draft two middleweights, be sure one can represent the Light Heavyweight division for you because there are 5 divisions and just five rounds to draft.
I did the draft randomly by writing everyone's name on a flashcard - and shuffling the deck for a while before pulling each pick. Then, I rinsed and repeated until all eight picks had names. Here's the order:
1) Aldogg (Aldogg33)
2) Steve (Kingtalktoomuch)
3) Russ (GAV60)
4) CJ's friend (Slayer45895)
5) Chris (Kingtalktoomuch)
6) CJ/Tony 4 MVP (TG304)
7) GAV (GAV60)
8) ATM (Pro Swagga)
For week one: 1 plays 2, 3 plays 4, 5 plays 6, and 7 plays 8. I'll do the rest of the schedule over the next few days.
Week one schedule:
Aldogg (Aldogg33) -VS- Steve (Kingtalktoomuch)
Russ (GAV60) -VS- CJ's friend (Slayer45895)
Chris (Kingtalktoomuch) -VS- CJ (TG304)
GAV (GAV60) -VS- ATM (Pro Swagga)
Weeks will all run from Sunday to Sunday, but there are no hard deadlines to get the matches in. Just don't fall more than a week behind.
Our draft will be Tuesday, June 2nd - at 830pm est. It will be held here (http://www.chatmaker.net/chatap/rooms/a2132/). See you then.
First week will end Sunday, June 7th (which is a little short) - but there is no hard deadline.
Feel free to voice any suggestions.

Think some of the overalls are 1-2 points off but this was the closest thing I could find without copying down all the fighters myself.

Most of them are accurate - and the ones that are off are high by just one point. Good find.
I'm willing to help anyone as well. I have the Strategy Guide - and it has all the stats and specials - and I'll share any information and insight that I have. I want the draft to be fair for everyone, so if you feel like you know less than you need to going in - ask me, and I'll help you as best as I can.
Start off by trying out as many fighters as you can. If you're good at standing, it's probably better to draft jujitsu fighters with good stand-up - or good stand-up fighters with good takedown defense. If you're better on the ground, pick wrestlers with weaponry on the ground - or jujitsu ground specialists. Doing a mock or two will really give you a feel for who you want and when to get them.
