I dont have the game yet but play the hell out the demo.I thought since this UFC section is new a thread about general knowledge would be helpful.I'll set it off by asking the most effective way to break out of a mount while im on my back?Even when im on top i have trouble going into another position.Any help would be appreciated.

Block your head by holding RB - when not transitioning - and transition while holding LB. Full transitions, like this one, are R-stick half circles - but full circles work just fine too.

When on top, only use LB when you are trying to access the wrestler-specific moves. Otherwise, lay off the LB.

you want to rotate the right stick clockwise rather than buttons.

You can get out of subs by mashing, but you'll never get your opponent to tap that way. Spinning the R stick is the only way to pull off a sub. Whether or not you get it has five factors. One, how low is your opponent's stamina? Two and three, how fast do you spin the R stick - verses how fast your opponent spins the R-stick, or mashes buttons. Four and five are your fighter's sub offense verses your opponent's sub defense.

Most players use the palm method to spin the R stick quickly. This way is fine, but you need to hold the stick softly - because if you press the R stick in (like a button), the game will act as if you stopped spinning altogether - and you will use stamina - and be reversed - very quickly. I'm probably one of the best submission players that you will see online - and I don't change my grip on the controller much at all. I angle the controller very slightly to the side - and spin with my thumb - without even letting go of the controller with the fingers on my right hand. I make small circles, rather than full ones - making the spin even faster. Against most players, if I have an advantage in sub stats, I can take their stamina bar to zero on my first attempt. Then, the next attempt will be it. I'm not saying this is the best way, but it works best for me.
