Just booked another week long trip so with work, that's about 3 full weeks I'll be unable to play games...

If anybody wants the Hawks please feel free to take them. If I can get a normal schedule nailed down I'll look to fill in and be apart of the fun in season 2 if there are openings (with 32 teams I'm sure there will be...I don't want to leave the CPU up to playing half my games for me.

I don't think you will have to worry about openings. I expect half the guys to quit mid season and all but a few at 3/4 thru. And the next league will only have about 10 guys sign up.

Not that early, usually its 4-5 guys the first season and you have about 3/4s a league the 2nd season.

Rev, guys, count me in on this. I posted earlier and it sure looks like you guys are doing a fantasy franchise league so I don't care what team I get. Plus, I am already a moderator for this particular forum so I can help you guys out with league management and such.

that's why I like this core group. most of y'all signed up in JUNE!!! that means, I hope, that majority here love this game and have been around for a while and know how to be good members of an active league.

and this year it's ok if people fall of the map, cause their games will just get simmed. and if they completely disappear, I believe the commish has the ability to kick owners out, which is a HUGE difference in the way leagues will function this year. Those two features together will help a lot of leagues like the ones with a core group like this, survive over time.
