My wife is watching it right now. She has been a big MJ fan for years. Don't ask me why.

Perhaps cause he was awesome before he well.. completely turned into an alien.

But come on, Thriller and Bad, those albums were monumental! And Moonwalker was awesome as well :)

Ya, he was awesome, and then he gave a bunch of children alcohol and performed oral sex on them. Hell of a guy.

I have no problem separating what he did musically and artistically from the alleged molestations.

Am I supposed to change the radio station if smooth criminal starts playing, or beat it, or whatever?

This is one person I refuse to judge no matter what. This guy has had to deal with sh1t that none of us can comprehend, and still I don't think anyone was able to prove that he did any of those things. The guy was very weird, no doubt, and he was very weird with children, and that's certainly cause for alarm, but maybe he was just ... weird and no more then that. I'm pretty sure OJ killed those two, but I'll never be so sure that Jackson did what they said he did.

Either way, I see no reason to not enjoy the music he made or acknowledge the impact it had on the rest of the industry.

Jermaine Jackson has always said none of that stuff happened when Michael was little and that their Dad wasn't really like that. Don't you find it kind of strange that Michael is the only one of those 9 kids who said that about his dad?

I wasn't really thinking about their dad... I was recalling one story where a very young MJ was a Studio 54 for example... I don't know really, its too complicated of a life to really judge IMO.

I have to be honest, after watching Joe plug his new website or whatever while talking about his dead son... I'll believe every word said about him.

You know better than that. Those accusers were all kinds of slimy. Even tried to sue someone else for a ton of money - prior to MJ.

Like his music......play it loud and often.....don't worship the guy and stage a public memorial bigger then when JFK died.

If you don't think he molested those children, you probably think OJ was innocent too. You don't pay a kid $20,000,000 dollars to settle a molestation lawsuit if you didn't molest him.

MJ was worth hundreds of millions, what is $20 mill to him? He probably realized that it was not looking good for him, or he might've been advised to settle to avoid the mess.

Second time around he was tried and found not guilty.

So he battles a promoter in court for years over a 5 million dollar breach of contract claim, even taking an appeal.....yet somehow when he is accused of sucking a child's *****, he decides he is going to "avoid the mess"?
