It has been a couple years since I played Madden. Getting married and having a baby has been wonderful, but not exactly gentle on my video game skills. I'm as rusty as they come.
I was suprised when I picked up the Prima Guide this year. Usually these in-store guides are pretty useless. Mostly just a game manual and not much else. I've purchased a season of virtual playbook and filmroom a couple years back so when I saw the VG Sports team was involved with Prima I quickly bought it.
It is a really well done guide which is miles above what I've seen in these types of guides in the past. Just what I need to get myself back into Madden.

So is the booklet you can purchase at Gamestop the same information you will get if you buy the online one? I'd rather have a hard-copy that I can take to work and read, instead of sitting at my PC when I get off work and reading through it. I'd rather be playing Madden after work :D

Very much different information. Print guide beginner to intermediate (with some advanced stuff thrown in). Online guide intermediate to advanced.

Is there a way to get a hard copy of the VG guide that you purchase online? I would like to read it away from the computer. I took the program to Kinkos this morning to print it out, but they told me it was $0.49/page for black and white, and $0.99/page for color. That would be roughly $317 to print it out in black and white. Do you have a less expensive option? Can I get a hard copy anywhere?

I bought the guide and don't doubt that it's great. I've been reading it when I can. The problem is, I'm only at home on my PC for 1-2 hours per day. If I had a hard copy I could take it to work and read it when we are slow.
After working all day in the heat (Plumber) the last thing I want to do is come home and sit in front of the computer screen for 2 hours and read. I'd rather be playing madden.
