Defense practice problems.

Whats the deal with practice mode? You cant do defense only and when you play vs the offense in practice they snap the ball before you can change anything.. Im trying to set up a decent nano or find key changes to a defensive play but have no time to.. this is so frustrating to me!! its almost as annoying as the automatic clock runoff this year.. Now we have no time to call an audible.. and if we do audible then theres no time to hot route or motion.. so wack!! but anyways how can i practice defensive formations? what do you guys do ?

move the controller icon to the left at the set up screen. then youll have to change it to your team... im not a big fan of practice, i just play un ranked.

Yeah i normally play unranked as well but i am trying to get the hang of setting up a type of blitz, problem is the CPU offense in practice snaps the ball in around 1 second so it leaves me zero time to audible a LB or what have you. Its cool though i just figured out i could use a second controller and decide when the offense snaps it that way.
