Draft talk!

if you had a top 10 pick, what guys would you look to take? normally it would be a no brainer for me, in these drafts i usually go Stud WR first... but this year it seems i can get by with just about any solid WR. with no real deep ball the elite speed/awr/ovr guys dont excite me...

next i usually go DE, but this year it seems even the best speed rushing DE's arent all that effective in a 4 man rush.

then i usually go safety or CB, but this year the DBs all seem to be solid and cover the same.

linebackers are definetly distinguishable between one another, but in the scheme i run, linebackers arent valued!


which brings us to DT. seems like DTs do ok. so i think id probably end up taking a young stud DT. only issue is there is no 25 or under stud DT!

which brings us to HB. s ome stud HBs... only, i rarely run! doh!

QB - ahh i pass, only i do just as well with guys like pennington and sanchez as i do brady and manning...

which leaves us with.... TIGHT END! a position that is pretty thin, with some young elite talent.

Vernon davis/shcokey/gates/winslow likely would be my #1 guy. that or maybe a slightly older DT in the 28-30 range

I am thinking QB or HB. Usually QB does not matter as much, but with QBs having some definitely distinct throwing motions this year, I actually think QB will matter more. As someone who likes to run the ball to try and control the tempo of the game, a stud HB would be hard to pass up.

Well, Tdogg just joined and it hasn't shuffled yet...Not that I'm saying it won't, but his name even appears on ravens at 13th pick in draft session still, so it already updated that.

I always draft by position order... then take the best player available (imo) when it's time for me to take someone for that spot.

Picking 32&33 I might got RB,LB. I need premier LB's to help pass rush and stop tha run. Do players retire during franchise? In that case I need youngn's

It took us a week to get to 30 people in the franchise, I would like the updated rosters but if we restarted now it would take another week to get everyone to join again. I don't think it's worth the risk to wait for everyone to join again.

dont think your getting asamouga at 32. he is one of 3 players im consdering taking first

live draft, though you can pre-rank and let the cpu handle it for you.


and no favre or vick. sorry, it would take too long to get everyone re-joined. If we play a few seasons and then decide to re-start the league then of course we'd restart with updated rosters.

If you click on "Fantasy Draft" on the left, then on the right pane, scroll down a little and click on the "My Draft Profile" tab, you'll see your prerank list. but i think it's view-only. meaning you'll have to update it on the console...

ive gone back and forth... now im thinkign stud WR... this is what ive always gone with first and its always seemed to pay off. i was thinkig CB, but from playing the game with the saints, scrubby CBs do just as well.

it doesnt seem nearly as clear cut as the CG versions as what i want
