View Full Version : Rule Vote : Playcalling Variety/Restrictions

Here's a VERY important rule to consider. MoneyMo has pointed out there are specific plays and play combinations that are going to suck the fun out of the league if they are allowed. We also know that many owners here would prefer more variety in playcalling, as has always been the case for NGML owners.
One way to deal with this is to put a limit on using the same exact play during a game. This limit on repeat plays ensures a certain level of playcalling variety. (once voting is done we can decide on the limiting number)
Another way to deal with this is to ban or limit specific plays outright, calling them out. (once voting is done we can decide on the plays that would be banned/limited)

I agree with most others, limiting plays is unenforcable.
Just ban HB Direct.

where is the option for "dont limit anything"?
and i agree, why limit HB direct to 2 times a game... just ban it. all limiting it is gonna do is ensure guys only use it in key sitatuations... which is even gayer

limit includes banning (ie limit to none).
"dont limit anything" is not an option cause nobody ever brought it up and we all want to do something about the problem, hence the need for the rule.
jj you loooooove to question everything dont you? thanks though, it keeps us on our toes.

I think they're going to ban it actually. It was banned last year but that was due more to the glitch where you could snap it to the WR. I don't even know why people would even consider dealing with this in a league tbh. If people want to allow this play in the league and people start running this scheme I guarantee no one will want to play. It doesn't take much skill to do this tbh, all you have to do is read the D, call the correct play just once in 4 downs and it's a easy 1st down.
