So I played a game against QBStokes last night he was going for a long field goal with 2 seconds left in the half, and got called for a holding penalty (yeah, i know, another one). I accepted and the half ended, as it should according to NFL rules.
HOWEVAH... :)
the problem is that holding penalties are excessively prevalent on FG's and extra points. I dont know if we need to make a rule on this or not. I have no inclination either way. I dont think there's anything the defender does on his own that would force a holding call, so it's not like it's intentional. It just seems random.
i'm afraid if this happens at the end of a league game we'll have some really upset folks. I'm not sure what y'all want to do with this... if anything.

lol.. i didn't really think the half would end.. I just pressed x real fast to get rid of the cut scene, and it accepted, and the half ended. i mean, i guess i knew the rule, but it was late and i wasn't really thinking anyway haahah..
but that's why i'm bringing it up. lol.. cause it could affect some of our close games, and worse, might decide a few games, just cause of that holding penalty issue.

Seems kinda gay to me. If someone gets a regular holding penalty I will accept it. But if they get one on an xp or fg attempt I am going to deny it no matter if I am up or down. It's dumb and annoying. Not like they are doing anything other than trying to kick a fg or xp.
Although I am sure there is some douche bag out there who would accept it. AIF

If its my decision and your close to the 30yrd line best believe I will accept and push you out of FG range. That is football man shouldnt be holding in my opinion.

The holding calls are bs during a fg. I think their should be a rule to decline holding (only on Field Goals). It's BS and you can get it to happen pretty consistent if you manually rush on FG's.

I know ppl always try 2 rush in on me and block and thats the only time I get called so I dont even touch controller when I block. As far as kicking I dont see a big problem with ppl getting holding against me so it doesnt bother me.
