Punt Audbile

I played a guy the other night that used the ULTIMATE CHEESE PLAY.

He would call a fake punt run, run with the QB for a few yards, then hurry up and call a pass audible out of shotgun spread.

He snapped the ball and his receivers ran deep and EVERY one of my db's just stood there looking at the LOS while his receivers ran past them.

He did this OVER and OVER and no defenseive audible that I called be it man or zone would stop it.

Has anyone else seen this? And if so, how do you stop it? :mad:

Yea that would be a glitch that was alos in 04. There are about 5 ways i know of to do it but only 1 way to stop it. After they run the fake punt and do hurry up, just audible and your guys will cover the wrs or you could just play man 2 man defense.

I have found more often in 05 that when someone runs a no huddle, your defensive plyers get lost and never go back to the LOS and you get called offsides more often.

That was off the topic but just wondered it anyone seen this also?

I notice also that if u audible during a no huddle, there r times when one of ur men will set on the wrong side of the ball... These chesse plyers r something else...... :mad:
