Fantasy Draft

Do you guys want a fantasy draft?

-If we do a live draft I'm thinking Sept 24th (Thur) @ 5 pm pacific rounds 1-25, Sept 18th (Fri) 5 pm pacific rounds 25-end of draft. We can vote on this as well.

-If we do an auto draft I'll hit the button on Sept 24th (Thurs) at 5pm.

-If we do regular teams we will start Sept 24th (Thur)

-Only league member votes will count.

I sat Reg teams since NGML ans PML(if it starts) are both fantasy and these leagues all have mostly the same guys

My vote is for pre ranking as well. After thinking about it I think the autodraft will be more fun. It makes the teams pretty even, and will create more trading (which everyone loves).

Is there anyway to re-select the teams after the Auto Draft.

Yahoo Fantasy online drafts take less than an hour. Would be nice if we could do that.

Great Idea, I like this the best. What I can do is sim the draft, kick myself out of the league and then people can pick teams. Let me know what you guys think. Specially the guys who want default teams. This way everyone has decent teams. I can generate a random draft order for teams also.

I agree, seems like it would be a very original and unique idea and would make the team draft alot of fun.

Would also make sure that the teams across the league are more ven and there isnt one team thats terrible like the Rams, Chiefs Lions or a team thats too good like the Pats, Eagles, Steelers.

I did the auto draft and posted the rosters of every team. From looking at the teams they look pretty balanced. I think this works best imo. It will also create a lot of trading. If we do this, I would generate a random draft order to pick teams using a website. We would then pick teams and I will send invites to everyone. Once everyone joins and agrees to the rules we can start.

I didnt think anyone would really go for that idea but if we're not doing real teams.........this is the next best solution. Now hopefully I dont get the last pick :D:eek:. I'll probably be the Lions of the league either way though. :mad:

So I can pick a team too. There's no guarantee I keep the same team I chose when I started the league. This way people cant say I cheated and drafted players for my team either.

I acutally think its more balanced than the real teams. I do see a few nice teams but there are like 16 - 17 teams that I wrote down that I wouldnt mind playing with. I couldnt say that about the reall teams.

Why not just have people stay in their current teams and run the auto, much faster way to do it and we all have the same chance to land team studs.

That's what I asked, I forget what theanswer was tho...there's luck involved either way so it's w/e

If we do this I'd rather have the Browns as stated in the sign-up sheet.

I'm about to generate the draft order. The only thing that sucks is this website only lets me do 24 teams. I chose the 24 guys who have shown recent activity or I personally have confidence will be active. I'm sorry if I didn't chose you, it doesn't mean your not in the league but you will chose after the the first 24 people pick.
