Agreed man. When I was 22, I had a 32 year old partner that I called "old man", and I used to make fun of him for needing a 20 minute warmup before playing. Now I am the old man with the 21 year old partner and I am popping napoxyn like candy to get through a 10 hour day of playing.

Other thing I notice about playing ball. I used to be able to go out drinking HARD all night and play a full tournament the next day on 3 hours sleep. Now I wouldn't even be able to get out of bed.

Ohhhh man this is super true. I can't hang like I used to. Drink all night, roll out of bed, pop on some clothes, drink water all day at work, and be ay ok by quitting time - then it was happy hour.

Or drink all night, get up at 6 am for BB practice smelling like the inside of the bottle, look like an azz for the 1st 30 mins and then shake it off.

Then you would show up at the club with a buzz and would shut the place down at 4am (especially if it was one of those nights where you have been striking out and you trying to catch that bar emptying out hook up.

Now I couldn't imagine going out at 12.

LOL, when I was in Law School I lived 4 blocks from EXIT (the largest club in NYC during that time. The line didn't even strat to form before 12-1 and the only people there by 11 were doing so to beat the cover.
